After the encouragement, in your first video about playing in the high octave, I decided not to give up on my Howard Low D, I love that Whistle, but I had a hard time playing the high or B, and had never even tried the C . I decided to alter the direction I was holding the whistle as Scott suggested, and just keep playing around with it, and one day it clicked. I was playing a scale, and I realized that I had displayed both of those notes fairly decently. I couldn’t believe it so don’t give up. Keep trying.
My god sir. I thought I had a faulty whistle. I have followed your video and my god it's coming. Still struggling on last two on upper octave. Top job. 👍👍
That’s is great news. I am so happy to hear. Yes, I remember the sense of frustration before those notes started to come together. The consolation is we don’t play them very often.
Thank you very much, actually I saw your first video, but at that time the second octave was not working for me, even to the point of breakdowns, I thought the problem was in the whistle. Some time passed, I learned to play well on the first octave (although the condensation was still a big problem), but the second octave still didn't let me play a lot of songs... But now I opened this video, watched half of it, picked up the whistle and just started playing the second octave in its entirety. I don't know how it worked, but that's it! Thank you!!
That is a delight to hear! I am certain most of the difference is in the time you spent working on the skill, but if I helped at all I am happy. Congrats!

Thanks for coming back to this!!
Thank you for saying. I realized now that I play better some of these topics are worth revisiting. Also, I have had some of our new friends asking.
