Great to see Mike and Dave back. Aaron on sabbatical?? I really enjoy the way you film and edit gameplay for us and the rules explanations are really well done. There are a stack of board game vids on TH-cam, but I really only buy games once I've seem you guys play through. Your wrap-up comments feel frank and honest - you all see ready to share both positives and negatives of a game. I really like the look of Kerala - not one on my radar. Games aren't cheap in UK - this one retails at a smidge under £30 ($42US) so your willingness to share faithfully is much appreciated. Thanks guys - you all do a great job; I'm already looking forward to the next installment!!
You guys seem stumped by the 4 tiles being removed. I'm pretty sure its so every player gets an even amount of turns being the first player. Rounds divisible by 4.
This game is one that grew on me the more I've played it. I've taught it several times and with the same people for games after since most people have asked for it again immediately. The second game and on most people seem to stack much more.
You guys are so fun, regardless of what you're playing, but the humor was really appreciated in this one. Take the show on the road to Tennessee and I'll set you up with a cool 1950's kitchen table for filming.
A herd or group of elephants is actually called a parade so it would make since that they referred to this way especially when you see them travelling in a caravan style. Nice playthrough
At [19:28] Mike Rests, but he removes the unused tile from play?!? I thought in the intro Dave says the unused tile remains in play and the following players have more choices. I guess they only remain until the round ends?
That would make it harder to use that elephant again. Maybe worth it, maybe not. Have to hope for a telephant or build over another tile to get out. Or just using the other elephant, which is hard with so many rounds left.
Great play through. I like the actions, but I think they should have been streamlined. Perhaps each player can do each action once in the game (IE not on drawn tiles)...?
4:55 you cannot move the red tile because it is surrounded by tiles. As per the rules, "you cannot move a tile or stack of tiles that is surrounded by tiles on all four sides".

Oh equal amount of rounds, not just turns. That makes sense. 24 rounds instead of 25 so everyone is first player 6 times.

You guys rock. Do more!
Very good abstract with decorative wooden elephants🐘👍😎
One of the first games I actually owned before you guys did a play through. Great game.

Seems to be a lot of random grunting in this game ;-)
Can you please continue your coop games like hp howearts battle and dresden files thanks

OH MY GOODNESS!!!! The first time I have heard Kerala pronounced correctly!!!!! I actually got tingles. Love you all!
N Jo Ah, that was my question. I was seeing it as ‘ker-AH-la” so ‘carol-a’ sounded weird.
You're welcome! FTR, we always try, but sometimes even the internet is unhelpful.
12:05 "A fiendish thingy!" Quote from the Beatles' movie, Help...?
At around 25 minutes mark, Nikki should have put the red and green tile on top of black moving elephant below where she was.
Liam Taylor red and blue....was about to comment on it as well ;)

Yeah that would be good. Or when you play an action tile you get a token that can be used later instead of having to do it right away.

This game didn't sound like much fun during the rules explanation, but the gameplay was actually quite engaging!
Thank you! I really enjoyed this game. #Wishlist
One of my family's favorites.
Did Lincoln get skipped of a turn to draw from the bag around the 30 min mark?
Yeah, I noticed at 30:20 he should have been the one pulling the tiles. Maybe it was all part of his master plan to win the game.
I noticed that when editing. Would have liked a first draw there ;-)
Trying to cheat you Lincoln but you still came out on top lol.
Houserule idea: draw 5, put the last tile back. Last turn will have 4 tiles.
I like this idea!
I like Ambie's new look.... will there be a song..? :)
tiberiusroot boo! I changed that. I wonder what happened?
:) Gremlins everywhere! Thanks for a great show Lincoln (and team).
OrthOgonally, Dave.
