Jessie's worry about the debate is the same i had. Kamala is absolutely going to eat up the clock and try to muddy the waters as much as possible by talking slowly and vaguely, only saying talking points or pivoting to "omg Trump did this one hoax though", to red herring away from topics she wants to avoid.
Her strategy is going to literally be to avoid going into detail on policy or why she flip flops so much. Just like how she changes her accent to pander to crowds, she flip flops based on the audience too. That's why she can't do interviews or debates, because she suddenly has to take a stance and will alienate some of the people she's been pandering to.

@@jacklarson6281 Trump's policies, in detail, are already known. Nobody knows what Kamala's are other than stuff she's said in the pasty and they're all bad. So if she wants people to think she has different policies, she's going to need to explain that to people rather than keep avoiding interviews and explaining what she's planning to do and hoping to get elected solely as being "not Trump".
Which is the current democratic party platform. "We're not Trump. Now listen to dozens of hours of anti-Trump propaganda". Of course, they must do this because their policy positions are all trash and unpopular, so they have to focus entirely on smearing their opponent instead like narcissists, rather than just mixing a bit of it in and giving a solid platform.
