I would totally watch a kitchen camera sitcom of this family. 😂 (despite Sheena's protests)

I truly live for Trid in his serious moments. It’s powerful, yet comforting to hear his views on things. I think we need a podcast of Trid fully serious. He truly reminds me of my brother and it makes me emotional 🥹❤ I love your support system!

Making our children laugh so much they throw up...? Did Sheena just say this? Of course she did and of course Trid did. Funniest family alive.

I vote for Kitchen cam. Let the kids decide what to edit into a video and let it be their channel, so they can have control over what is exposed.

True story: My cousin was starting menopause and she had skipped her period for like 6 months. She was happy, thought she was done. We met for dinner while I had my monthly and she called me the next day just pissed because I seemingly caused her to have her period. LOL I felt so powerful!! I enjoy your blog and YT channel. Great mood lightener. Keep it up!

I love this episode in particular. The validation of both sides and how each process emotions is SUPER important to any relationship. I, unfortunately, didn't grow up around positive examples and I'm so happy that you set this positive example for your children too.
I'm the same way as Sheena where I need my space before I can talk about things and my partner is similar to Trid where they have their mechanisms of even though there was just an argument they show that they're still around when you're ready to talk about it.
This was such a great podcast. Thanks for sharing and I can't wait for the next one!

We have been married for 40 years this year and the best phrase I ever learned was 'Yes Dear!' 😂😂
It has saved my head from that savagery that happens if we don't say that soon enough 😂😂
We tend to say what the issue is and either agree and move on putting that behind us, or we disagree and maybe talk again when we are calm or agree to disagree. Either way, we have always said goodnight and I love you, whether it is sarcastic or real, it's still communicating with each other and the sarcasm makes it funny sometimes so that can break the ice.
I'm thankful and lucky in that I married an angel.
I enjoy watching all of your great content. Thank you for the laughs and the insight. I love your honesty.

I love that they did this podcast not only for views, but by doing this, they speak to each other more and understand each other better while taking away ego. Because there's a third party watching, which is us, they tend to not get angry and be more understanding of each other.
They are living a healthy relationship and I aspire to have a relationship like theirs if I ever get into one

    • @valariemeltzer1059

They did this because people a lot of them wanted to know their story and it's in several parts which I just watched them all and they were funny and informative. Their background story is proof that they were meant for each other from the start. They don't do anything just for views and really podcasts are radio pretty much like on Pandora radio or something like that. They have a huge following and get many views already.

For the young folks performing this podcast…there was a morning program, that before it was picked for syndication, and then during syndication and even TODAY, the co-hosts did not speak to each other prior to the start of the show. The avoidance was to be spontaneous in conversation. It was and IS wildly successful. Thank Regis Philbin.

Thank you so much for sharing... The REAL. I think it's a combination of both. Irritants, pet peeves, whatever, need to be addressed, but I do like TRID's idea as well. I don't know if it's due to MY A.D.D. but writing down 3 things each partner can work of not doing any more that makes the other person mad. Now, not only has it been spoke out loud for both parties to acknowledge, it is now also written as a visual aid for us visual learners to be accountable in love to show love that you love the your significant other that much that you are both willing to work together to become a better unit together and restrengthen the bond between you. ❤❤❤😊😊😊 love you both. Such a blessing!

I really enjoyed this. Everyone's way of arguing is different. For me, if it's at night, we still say GOODNIGHT to each other. My 1st husband died in his sleep. I didn't say I love you or goodnight. I have guilt everyday. GOODNIGHT is necessary. Also, each person must be responsible for their OWN actions. An apology is necessary if you hurt someone's feelings. But the ego side, say I'M SORRY. Fight done.

Actually I think the chat's a great idea, yeah the other person's gonna remember what was erased but that's a way for both to work on things that bother the other one, it's better for both to say "Can you work on this 3 things?" so both will work on the things that bother the other, then when you erase something that's already worked it's not gonna be a problem anymore because you already worked on it, then you can work on whatever's next if there's anything and you will grow stronger as a couple, that's like working on your bad habits but as a couple
