Hey, as a fellow Soldier 11 player, a quick tip. There is a lot of end lag at the end of her final basic. As soon as the last hit comes out, I like to immediately throw in a dash attack to get cancel the end lag animation, and get her back into her basic attack string faster. Though, the caveat to this is on the final hit, You'll have to time it rather than rely on fire suppression buffs. But it's just a tiny optimization I like to use.
She is like Diluc in ZZZ to me, cozy and confident + addictable gameplay, just straight forward fire dmg. But she'll highly likely be powercreeped in future patch.
This is honestly one of the nicest guides I’ve seen so far on TH-cam, I always told people I talk with that out of all the standard banner I think solider 11 comes in 3rd slot as one of the best pull. Great job!
my go to soldier team is Qing Yi, Lucy, Soldier 11. Qing Yi stuns like mad and then when she swaps in her fire suppression will be active so you do the 8-16 hits and then swap out of qing yi again. the chain stun is brutal and it does so much work.
I’m thinking the same thing. Just got her M1 when losing Burnice 50/50. The M2 is a 36% damage bonus at max stacks so it seems pretty worthwhile to me.
You can also end the chain with Lucy as well. Her switch assist after her EX and chain activates Soldier as well but I def need Lucy M6. I have her at M4 smh
The S11 combo works fine if you get Brimstone, but if you're still too low on the currency, or the urge to get M2 Burnice was too strong (RIP my Signal points), it makes sense to be left with Starlight Engine. You can't dodge counter a stunned enemy, so definitely end chain with Lucy or another support so S11 can Quick Assist for the 12 sec buff. You can QA quickly with Lucy's M2 and still get her buff, but I prefer to always throw in Lucy's EX special after she Chain Attacks because you can still QA off of the chain and not actually wait for the boar to land. Lucy wants to build attack and level her special anyway, so it's a nice bit of extra damage if you add crit to her. Anyway, with Caesar existing, I really wish S11's Mindscape 4 was updated to have her Hollow Zero Affinity Resonium effect where dash/dodge and a few other attacks chain into her 4th hit basic attack, the one with over half of Fire Suppression's damage. Gives her 4 combos per Special/Chain/Ult. I doubt it'd be close to too much... because as awesome as S11 is, limited characters do be obviously stronger. (I love her, but I know this to be true)

as someone who uses soldier 11 and played Devil May Cry 4, I don't know how many people can relate to this, but if you ever play DMC4, you'll notice that Soldier 11 attacks is really similar on how Nero's gameplay on DMC4 You gotta time your attack to perfectly always charge your weapon, and that's what makes me love soldier11 gameplay loop
also having also played S11 from the start, this is just my own take on top of the tips in the video, I think it's also important to prioritize damage output when enemy are stunned, instead of always prioritizing full combo rotation For example on minute 5:00 at this timing, with enemy stun bar running out, I would prioritize to use her EX skill instead of finishing the rotation combo, because her EX skill deals more instant bigger damage than her normal attack, (Hence more valueable to the multiplier stun damage) even if we are wasting her attack buff combo that way, I would say it's almost always better to immidiately switch to stunner the moment enemy is out of stun

S11 helped me full star in Shiyu Defense. And 30 Floor of endless tower. Got her on standard banner and been the goat since then. But i think she will become like diluc in genshin in future
Soldier 11 was my first S rank. A friend told me she was useless because there were no other Obol Squad members and most enemies were weak to Ice/Ether and sometimes Electric damage. Fire was only relevant during 1.2 and shredding through enemies in Shiyu felt so cathartic. Thanks for the tip about not using the ultimate immediately. I've been using her with Caesar and Lucy and I really wanted her W-engine as well but the Starlight Engine has been working nicely for me. I know I probably should, but I have like 53 pulls for an emergency... As for the Burnice team... I thought it was useless because Burnice is an Anomaly support, but activating Inferno Metal all the time is insane! My S11 has 58/160 crit rate/damage. I love her so much.

Pulled S11 and Koleda back to back on my alt & they carried me through all endgame content till this day (except for fire resistant enemies ofc). Counterpoint to the comment on Mindscape 4, there are multiple times in the Battle Tower that S11 players have died because of removed indicators, her particle effects, and what not lead her to taking a ton more damage than she should. Having M4 let's you safely deal the strongest part of her attacks without having to worry about being 1-shot.

I wanted her since I started the game. I even spent some polychromes on the standard banner to reach the 300 pulls faster. I regret nothing. And while everyone is waiting for Lighter to buff Miyabi, all I know is that he's badass and buffs fire damages => perfect for Soldier 11
My soldier 11 team is Her, Ben, and Lucy. Ben's Team/Additional Passive gives 16% crit rate while active, so I can focus more on getting her Crit DMG up. At first, I was disappointed that I lost the first 50/50 when trying to get Ellen, but god DAMN is she strong.
I think to save all agents with attack type, we need a support who can buff crit rate/dmg for a huge amount so they can be on the same level as anomaly agents
I got s11 m1 and s1 since 1.2 patch, I saw her potential damage in withering domain also she's the reason why I'm still playing zzz (still waiting for her trust banner). got her at 48crt/136cdm wth 3400atk. I just suck at doing combo passive and need to work on my dodging cause s11 needs on the field mostly. great content

Ive been building soldier 11 after I lost the 50/50 to Ellen now after I got burnice my soldier 11 is really shinning, b4 I didnt have koleda nor did I build lucy bc lucy I needed another sons of callidon to combo and piper wasnt ideal, now I use s11, burnice and caesar in the same team and its powerhousing my main team, (zhu yuan, anby and nicole)
The spite me hating on soldier 11 personality and her edge dub voices Lines she is insanely fun to play and feels Rewarding with a her consistent up time
I feel like I've watched this months ago but it's more deep than last time. I realized after watching this that I've mastered her gameplay (except dodging xD) from Timing her atks to sustaining a permanent fire suppression. Also I think the only thing that could make my Soldier 11 better was to get Koleda and her W-Engine, or the way that I don't like, to build lucy with impact. I don't have a stunner but my M1R0 Soldier deals like 6-10k normals maybe when buffed it reaches 5 digits, and when the enemy is stunned it goes like almost 30k normals. It takes too long to stun enemies as I play Anomaly Nicole and Crit Lucy, and it costs so much time. Maybe it's time to swap Lucy's build for now until I get Koleda on the 300pull selector. I will be using her so much as long as the enemies are not resistant to fire cause I still don't have a single limited S-Rank unit as I was saving for Miyabi since release, I won't be pulling for other chara until Miyabi's next rerun as I want her M6R1. So yeah currently all DPS I have is Soldier 11, Corin, Piper and a dream.
I've heard alot of people say this for billy as well, he can be so strong with the right stats and setup, it all depends on your love for the character, in this game almost any character can work, Favorites over meta for Life, enjoy the game in your own way proxies
To add to your s11 boss combo, there is a period where you want to re-apply supports buff (in your case, Lucy) real quickly. you can swap and EX on her and swap back without interupting the flow of the combo you had laid out, preferably before ult. in your example you dropped your lucy debuff so s11 went without 600 atk and 10% crit damage during her ult. I know you briefly mentioned this in your video regarding Lucy's mindscapes but even with m2, s11 doesn't extend her buff much due to EX not being something s11 spams. This is just a small nitpick ofc!
S11 is my favorite characters. I don't have Koleda so I've built her with 4x woodpecker and 2 inferno metal to stay active 99% of the time. In game with her w-engine, ben and lucy for support, she reaches 5400 atk, 70% crit and just annihilate anything.

Soldier 11 is my 1st S Rank Agent, and I'll be damned if someone talks slander about her. I enjoy using her with Lucy and Lighter. it's such a nice combo. IDC about that POWERCREPT BS, all that matters is to have fun and enjoy the game. That's exactly what im doing on my F2P account
Caesar is a good substitute for Koleda if you have her. Caesar's shield gives Soldier a massive attack buff, and she has a lot of impact for building quick stuns.
Nice guide! Soldier, Burnice and Caesar was my fastest Soldier team this shiyu, possible to clear sub 1 min with better grouping and rotations. I dont think is an unreliable or bad team.
Respectfully disagree on m4 not being anything gamebreaking. Becoming invulnerable during basic 4 changes her output dramatically (outside of ceasar teams). The damage on b4 is great but most of the time against aggressive enemies you struggle to weave it in without having to dodge. Getting b1-3 in is a much easier goal especially when you can consider tanking a hit with the anti-interruption to get there if necessary. You can try this out in hollow zero if you finishing blow with her on stage 1 (friendship required of course).
spending 600 to get the weapon seems like a strong decision to me, also because you can get it through the permanent... and spending 600 to then get it again would hurt my sweet heart😂
Got Soldier 11 while aiming for Burnice, and the game decided to give me her weapon while I was using tapes on the standard banner for the 300 selector. Sp clearly the game wants me to build her! I've got her level and W engine pretty high up there, with her skills sottong at about half way. Really, just need a team to go with her. I usually keep Burnice, Lucy, and Piper on the same team for fire damage, but maybe a team with Lyacon and Lucy would do good as a substitute. It's definitely hard to slot her in to a team with my existing lineup, but I'm sure something good will pop up!

The problem is not that she is bad. Every character in zzz is good enough not to feel bad. The problem is she is worse than everyone else, and noticably. To the pint, where crit on-field burnice does more damage in a same team. She still has a lot of room for improvement with her faction members, so who knows, but right now you should build her only if you like her. Playing "rhythm" game with her attacks is fun though
Literrally can't wait for Lighter now. I lost my last character 50/50 to Soldier 11 and the w-engine one to her signature, as if to subtly hint at me to play her... With my Lighter garanteed, I am contractually obliged to build her as well
I'm surprised ya did not mention Qingyi as a stunner option in place of Caesar or Koleda. The increased stun dmg multiplier combined with extra damage to stunned enemies + burn = STOOOONKS + She's better at applying anomaly than Caesar which leads to more of those occasional disorders, not much but it's a free extra. Great vid tho, certainly helps :)
I started playing this game 2 weeks ago and S11 was my first S agent. Later on I got Nekomata and Lycaon but their damage don't come even close. Maybe I should just focus on building S11
She's my favorite character in the game and one of the reasons i started playing. Im glad that i was able to pull her and her signature W-Engine. I thought i was going to need to use my guaranteed 5* selector once i reached 300 on standard to get her (like i had to with Himeko in Star Rail). Might still use it on her since i already have every other standard 5* character that i wanted (only missing 2 which is Grace and Lycaon. I don't really think i need Grace since i recently got Yanagi and i only pull/use females/waifus in this game, so it doesn't really matter if i get them or not lol).
@@flossinonyou true, also one thing you didn't mention in your video is you can EX special/chain attack/ultimate S11 then swap out, she still keep that 8 normal attack buff for 15s (long enough to stun and Lucy assist)
With the release of Lighter, Soldier 11 is now even stronger. I've been running Lighter/Lucy/Soldier with very solid results, easily outperforming my Koleda/Lucy/Soldier team. It's very handy to have both Soldier and Burnice built for the surprisingly frequent occurrence in which both rounds of Shiyu defense are fire weak. Caesar/Burnice/Piper stomps one round easily (Piper goes so hard with Caesar it's unbelievable), and Lighter/Lucy/Soldier handily clear the second (or vice versa).

@@Magician-Pianist I've lost two 50-50s to the Brimstone, so my Soldier is set, which means my Zhu Yuan gets to have the battlepass W-engine, fortunately. There are so few good F2P options for some character types, it's kind of a problem.
at release i played all trial s rank agent to see who's fit me then i find s11 is the most fun one but my 1st and 2nd s rank was nekomata n rina, then she comes on the third i was so happy, she was indeed so worth it to upgrade for and i just watch this video find its so informational and learn new things!! this is amazing, thanks alot! im miyabi saver so thats explain why i only play standard character 😂
My rotation for her is straight forward but a little tricky Lucy hold EX give you 15s instead of the usual 10s buff I also set up manual chain attack - so when I know it’s stun time I just hold the basic of ex button on the final hit to prevent the chain attack from happening - quickly switch to lucy and hold her EX to actually trigger the chain attack - Then switch over to S11 and pretty much ignore all the other chain attacks This give me enough window to perform 8 hits after chain attack then going in immediately with ult while lucy buff is still active and daze multiplier still going
i am here bcause soldier eleven loves me, lose to her during jane and burnice banner and got her another copy at standard. she gatekeeps me from anomaly meta lmao

since i pulled soldier 11 i thought she was an easy to play squall leonhart, what i struggled with was the disk drives far more than her rotations. i have burnice and m 6 lucy and i thinking of replacing burnice with lighter when he releases
7:47 for final time Works, but she’s definitely not great. Meanwhile you can probably use Jane, Burnice, or Yanagi to clear in less than a minute. She’s definitely usable and I love her, but I wish there were more ways for me to boost her up. I already have her 68.2cr and 136.4 crit damage with 3152 attack. So with fire suppression she has 96 crit rate. Lucy and Caesar on my team already provide diminishing returns for attack I feel as well.
I want to add, if paired with Koleda 7:52 ...You REALLY want Koleda to dodge counter many tiems Her dodge counter are often never took into consideration by many reviewer because in early phase enemies are slow attacking, but it is the highest daze of all current stunner with no energy needed, chasing, and long The more often the enemy attack 4:28, the faster Koleda will stun using her dodge counter and also enjoying the full leading to the faster attacker/anomaly rotation My main team is Piper-Koleda-Lucy, and I watched this video because want to build Soldier 11 since I got her C1 lol
Ah, I see, a fellow Koleda spinner enjoyer. No, but seriously, the moment I realized how good Koleda's dodge counter was, Razor has straight up become piss easy to deal with. The amount of daze you'll do is crazy, not even accounting her EX skill which does massive daze already.
My only issue with Soldier 11 is that the timing for her fire suppression is really tight unlike Anby who is much more lenient with her lightning's timing. But no she's definitely not weak. She's one of my strongest unit even without Fire Suppression being on.

I got her 20 pulls into standard and used her with Ben and Lucy. Very solid unit and I even got her timing down pretty well by now
Luckily for me , I ended up randomly gettting The Brimstone while pulling. Soldier 11 is 100% gonna be my free S Rank once I get to 300 pulls
My soldier 11 team is Her, Ben, and Lucy. Ben's Team/Additional Passive gives 16% crit rate while active, so I can focus more on getting her Crit DMG up. At first, I was disappointed that I lost the first 50/50 when trying to get Ellen, but god DAMN is she strong.

I think to save all agents with attack type, we need a support who can buff crit rate/dmg for a huge amount so they can be on the same level as anomaly agents

I got s11 m1 and s1 since 1.2 patch, I saw her potential damage in withering domain also she's the reason why I'm still playing zzz (still waiting for her trust banner). got her at 48crt/136cdm wth 3400atk.
I just suck at doing combo passive and need to work on my dodging cause s11 needs on the field mostly.

Ive been building soldier 11 after I lost the 50/50 to Ellen now after I got burnice my soldier 11 is really shinning, b4 I didnt have koleda nor did I build lucy bc lucy I needed another sons of callidon to combo and piper wasnt ideal, now I use s11, burnice and caesar in the same team and its powerhousing my main team, (zhu yuan, anby and nicole)
My Soldier 11 is M3 (she’s always my 50/50 loss lol) and she’s a beast.
The spite me hating on soldier 11 personality and her edge dub voices Lines she is insanely fun to play and feels Rewarding with a her consistent up time
I feel like I've watched this months ago but it's more deep than last time. I realized after watching this that I've mastered her gameplay (except dodging xD) from Timing her atks to sustaining a permanent fire suppression. Also I think the only thing that could make my Soldier 11 better was to get Koleda and her W-Engine, or the way that I don't like, to build lucy with impact. I don't have a stunner but my M1R0 Soldier deals like 6-10k normals maybe when buffed it reaches 5 digits, and when the enemy is stunned it goes like almost 30k normals. It takes too long to stun enemies as I play Anomaly Nicole and Crit Lucy, and it costs so much time. Maybe it's time to swap Lucy's build for now until I get Koleda on the 300pull selector.
I will be using her so much as long as the enemies are not resistant to fire cause I still don't have a single limited S-Rank unit as I was saving for Miyabi since release, I won't be pulling for other chara until Miyabi's next rerun as I want her M6R1. So yeah currently all DPS I have is Soldier 11, Corin, Piper and a dream.

I've heard alot of people say this for billy as well, he can be so strong with the right stats and setup, it all depends on your love for the character, in this game almost any character can work,

To add to your s11 boss combo, there is a period where you want to re-apply supports buff (in your case, Lucy) real quickly. you can swap and EX on her and swap back without interupting the flow of the combo you had laid out, preferably before ult. in your example you dropped your lucy debuff so s11 went without 600 atk and 10% crit damage during her ult. I know you briefly mentioned this in your video regarding Lucy's mindscapes but even with m2, s11 doesn't extend her buff much due to EX not being something s11 spams. This is just a small nitpick ofc!
S11 is my favorite characters. I don't have Koleda so I've built her with 4x woodpecker and 2 inferno metal to stay active 99% of the time. In game with her w-engine, ben and lucy for support, she reaches 5400 atk, 70% crit and just annihilate anything.

Soldier 11 is my 1st S Rank Agent, and I'll be damned if someone talks slander about her. I enjoy using her with Lucy and Lighter. it's such a nice combo. IDC about that POWERCREPT BS, all that matters is to have fun and enjoy the game. That's exactly what im doing on my F2P account
Caesar is a good substitute for Koleda if you have her. Caesar's shield gives Soldier a massive attack buff, and she has a lot of impact for building quick stuns.

Soldier, Burnice and Caesar was my fastest Soldier team this shiyu, possible to clear sub 1 min with better grouping and rotations. I dont think is an unreliable or bad team.
I am shocked by how you didn't mention Ben at all
Respectfully disagree on m4 not being anything gamebreaking. Becoming invulnerable during basic 4 changes her output dramatically (outside of ceasar teams). The damage on b4 is great but most of the time against aggressive enemies you struggle to weave it in without having to dodge. Getting b1-3 in is a much easier goal especially when you can consider tanking a hit with the anti-interruption to get there if necessary.
You can try this out in hollow zero if you finishing blow with her on stage 1 (friendship required of course).
m4 has carried my withering garden solo runs, invincible b4 and being able to dash attack into b4 basically means you never get hit
spending 600 to get the weapon seems like a strong decision to me, also because you can get it through the permanent... and spending 600 to then get it again would hurt my sweet heart😂

Got Soldier 11 while aiming for Burnice, and the game decided to give me her weapon while I was using tapes on the standard banner for the 300 selector. Sp clearly the game wants me to build her! I've got her level and W engine pretty high up there, with her skills sottong at about half way. Really, just need a team to go with her. I usually keep Burnice, Lucy, and Piper on the same team for fire damage, but maybe a team with Lyacon and Lucy would do good as a substitute. It's definitely hard to slot her in to a team with my existing lineup, but I'm sure something good will pop up!

Like man, she is good, but my Laptop / Low Wi Fi makes playing her Impossible
The problem is not that she is bad. Every character in zzz is good enough not to feel bad. The problem is she is worse than everyone else, and noticably. To the pint, where crit on-field burnice does more damage in a same team. She still has a lot of room for improvement with her faction members, so who knows, but right now you should build her only if you like her. Playing "rhythm" game with her attacks is fun though

Literrally can't wait for Lighter now. I lost my last character 50/50 to Soldier 11 and the w-engine one to her signature, as if to subtly hint at me to play her... With my Lighter garanteed, I am contractually obliged to build her as well
I'm surprised ya did not mention Qingyi as a stunner option in place of Caesar or Koleda. The increased stun dmg multiplier combined with extra damage to stunned enemies + burn = STOOOONKS
+ She's better at applying anomaly than Caesar which leads to more of those occasional disorders, not much but it's a free extra.

I started playing this game 2 weeks ago and S11 was my first S agent. Later on I got Nekomata and Lycaon but their damage don't come even close. Maybe I should just focus on building S11
She's my favorite character in the game and one of the reasons i started playing. Im glad that i was able to pull her and her signature W-Engine. I thought i was going to need to use my guaranteed 5* selector once i reached 300 on standard to get her (like i had to with Himeko in Star Rail). Might still use it on her since i already have every other standard 5* character that i wanted (only missing 2 which is Grace and Lycaon. I don't really think i need Grace since i recently got Yanagi and i only pull/use females/waifus in this game, so it doesn't really matter if i get them or not lol).
She's my first S rank character, this is my 2nd week of playing and I will main her as my Fire character
you don't need all of those info/combo in the video above if you can timing her normal attack right all the time (trust me bro i main her)

@@flossinonyou true, also one thing you didn't mention in your video is you can EX special/chain attack/ultimate S11 then swap out, she still keep that 8 normal attack buff for 15s (long enough to stun and Lucy assist)

Also, you can team up with Ben since his ex-special increase the crit rate teammate and given a temp shield

With the release of Lighter, Soldier 11 is now even stronger. I've been running Lighter/Lucy/Soldier with very solid results, easily outperforming my Koleda/Lucy/Soldier team. It's very handy to have both Soldier and Burnice built for the surprisingly frequent occurrence in which both rounds of Shiyu defense are fire weak. Caesar/Burnice/Piper stomps one round easily (Piper goes so hard with Caesar it's unbelievable), and Lighter/Lucy/Soldier handily clear the second (or vice versa).

@@Magician-Pianist I've lost two 50-50s to the Brimstone, so my Soldier is set, which means my Zhu Yuan gets to have the battlepass W-engine, fortunately. There are so few good F2P options for some character types, it's kind of a problem.
at release i played all trial s rank agent to see who's fit me then i find s11 is the most fun one
but my 1st and 2nd s rank was nekomata n rina, then she comes on the third i was so happy, she was indeed so worth it to upgrade for and i just watch this video find its so informational and learn new things!! this is amazing, thanks alot!

and she definitely likes me , got her m2 just from lost 50/50 :-D
My rotation for her is straight forward but a little tricky
Lucy hold EX give you 15s instead of the usual 10s buff
I also set up manual chain attack
- so when I know it’s stun time I just hold the basic of ex button on the final hit to prevent the chain attack from happening
- quickly switch to lucy and hold her EX to actually trigger the chain attack
- Then switch over to S11 and pretty much ignore all the other chain attacks
This give me enough window to perform 8 hits after chain attack then going in immediately with ult while lucy buff is still active and daze multiplier still going

imo i prefer to end with lucy and then do the assist switch to soldier 11 because that way lucy's buff lasts all through soldier 11's dps phase
This way is also a good way to end the chain attack, i just didn’t add it in the combo section since it was complicated enough for some people

since i pulled soldier 11 i thought she was an easy to play squall leonhart, what i struggled with was the disk drives far more than her rotations. i have burnice and m 6 lucy and i thinking of replacing burnice with lighter when he releases

7:47 for final time Works, but she’s definitely not great. Meanwhile you can probably use Jane, Burnice, or Yanagi to clear in less than a minute. She’s definitely usable and I love her, but I wish there were more ways for me to boost her up. I already have her 68.2cr and 136.4 crit damage with 3152 attack. So with fire suppression she has 96 crit rate. Lucy and Caesar on my team already provide diminishing returns for attack I feel as well.
I want to add, if paired with Koleda 7:52 ...You REALLY want Koleda to dodge counter many tiems
Her dodge counter are often never took into consideration by many reviewer because in early phase enemies are slow attacking,
but it is the highest daze of all current stunner with no energy needed, chasing, and long
The more often the enemy attack 4:28, the faster Koleda will stun using her dodge counter and also enjoying the full
leading to the faster attacker/anomaly rotation
My main team is Piper-Koleda-Lucy, and I watched this video because want to build Soldier 11 since I got her C1 lol

No, but seriously, the moment I realized how good Koleda's dodge counter was, Razor has straight up become piss easy to deal with. The amount of daze you'll do is crazy, not even accounting her EX skill which does massive daze already.
She is definitely one of the best fire dps in the whole game
My only issue with Soldier 11 is that the timing for her fire suppression is really tight unlike Anby who is much more lenient with her lightning's timing. But no she's definitely not weak. She's one of my strongest unit even without Fire Suppression being on.
