@@JTTunes1204 Morpho was actually both. First he was an early Meta Knight design, then scrapped until he was part of development for the GCN game ,which was also scrapped. Finally, he became Morpho Knight in Star Allies.
I miss Galacta Knight. He's honestly my favorite Kirby character, and I really wish they would just give him a canon appearance already. Justice for the birdy boy
I feel like there is a chance for him to make a return, he never really died, he only got absorbed by the butterfly. A scenario I can think of is Kirby getting absorbed and then Kirby has to find a way out. Then Galacta Knight would intervene, he wouldn't have any hope of escaping whatsoever.
I believe that a return can take place.. even the butterfly has absorbed it is still a non-canon event so nothing has happened to him anyway and it is not very unlikely that in the next game he will always return non-canonically or perhaps in combo with Morpho Knight

He wasn't the wrong knight that was sealed away, he was sealed away because people feared for his great power, that doesn't mean that Galacta was evil, he was just powerful, so Galacta was angry about this and seeks revenge

He does. In Super Kirby Clash, one of Aeon Hero Dark's attacks is throwing the Jamba Spears from Star Allies, which reveals that he was one the 4 heroes that sealed away Void Termina.

And also, among some elements of lore: he has a connection with the Great Galactic Crisis, he travels between dimensions to confront different versions of Meta Knight and finally, this last point is apparently what prompted the Butterfly to send him to the afterlife.

For some reason I really liked the Light Aeon Hero’s version of Galacta Knight’s Design.

@@mystic5175 it’s more like a theory since Void has copied all attacks that defeated it through its past memory. Elfilis is able to do some attacks like Void but he doesn’t have Axe and Bow like Void did. Which makes him someone who Void trying to copy to. Then again, it’s just a theory.

Both Galacta Knight and Morpho Knight are very unique warriors with interesting history. The later was supposed to be a more improved form of Meta Knight, but plans were scrapped until they literally brought morpho knight back as its own character. These two knights brought it, although Galacta Knight I find more ridiculous to fight than Morpho Knight. It was cool to wield Morpho Knight's blade in Kirby and the Forgotten Land. I need to give that weapon a go once more.
Also the butterfly just used the powers of Galacta Knight to reborn as Morpho Knight.
i was so mad when it showed soul forgo cuz I didn’t like the Fecto forgo guy, but then morpho knight came in and I’m happy about that.
And i love the role they gave morhpo knight too as a judgment of death
A shame Morpho Knight didn't wait. The Fecto Forgo fight was lacking and I wanted to see how they would improve that.

my prevailing theory on morpho knight is that galacta is using the butterfly as a vessel to fly around and discover the strongest beings it can find so he can have the power of aeon hero, thus letting him regain his title of “strongest warrior in the galaxy”

@@vile2574 Supposedly, Galacta Knight split himself into two beings, one that keeps his current power, and one that absorbs others’ power, with the goal of reuniting the two after gaining more power, and Star Allies would be them reuniting. I don’t agree with the theory, but it’s certainly a very interesting take on it

Galacta Knight is the stronger one. He deliberately allowed himself to be absorbed by the butterfly so he can finally be put out of his misery. On top of that, he has two insanely powerful forms with mastery over light and dark, one-shots final bosses with one measly slash and is the progenitor of the Heart Spears that sealed VOID away.
Meanwhile, Morpho Knight can't even one-shot a boss without A.) said boss literally letting himself get absorbed, and B.) getting Uno Reversed by the being it tried to consume.

Basically, Galacta Knight has been alive for so long that his powerful desire to finally die resonated with Morpho Knight and he willingly allowed himself to be vaporized.
And let's be real here: Morpho Knight is like Dark Crafter and Dark Nebula in the sense that it needs a host to even gain some semblance of power.
When that host fights back, that's when it runs into issues.

With every main Kirby game from Return To Dreamland onwards, after said game, the next encounter is against a different knight than Galacta Knight.
However, you don’t fight Galacta Knight in Forgotten Land. You fight Morpho Knight again instead.
Safe to say, they’ve killed off Galacta Knight in the main games.

Galacta Knight is how you build mystery and power of a character the right way since he's been slowly developing over the course of a decade and counting, getting new tidbits of backstory that makes him both terrifyingly powerful as one of the hardest bosses in the series but also a tragic soul.
Morpho Knight is how you completely fuck up that same concept since its only hint was the butterfly that appears since Return to Dreamland, has *NO* foreshadowing or backstory whatsoever, just comes in and absorbs Galacta without any indication and fights like a complete joke.
The devs knew they fucked up since they have since hinted that Galacta himself wanted to finally die to at least offset some of the damage, while also granting him two unfathomably dangerous forms, as well as the implication that he's either one of the Four Heroes or just the source of the Heart Spears.
*SPOILERS:*
Meanwhile, Morpho can't even absorb an unwilling host without getting Uno Reversed, which is how Chaos Elfilis came to be.

I like them both for different reasons, Morpho Knight feels way more otherworldly and vast, Galacta Knight is more grounded but he feels more intense. I think they make a good contrast, like Legendary Pokémon
