Understanding Dementia

I joined Jawan Strader, the host of NBC 6 "Voices", as the mental health expert to provide insights in the field of dementia. In this interview we identify some of the complexities of dementia, some of the causes, its impact on individuals and families, the different types of dementia, and some strategies for management and care.
Living with a family member with dementia is undoubtedly a journey filled with ups and downs, but it’s also a journey marked by love, resilience, and moments of profound connection.
