In this video, I demonstrate how to store a backup of the project file directly on the PLC and how to download it on your PC, whenever required. This will allow you to keep a copy of the project in the PLC, access it, and update it whenever needed.
I hope you enjoy watching the video. Please don't forget to subscribe to my channel and share it with your network.

how can access, in the event of source not downloaded, and needs to go online to the plc?
I think you can not do much, if the source is not already downloaded into the PLC. As far as I know, you can not go online if you don't have the same project open in your IDE.
Hello, is there any way to do the tbf backup save and/or load within the visualisation? e.g. to/from a USB or SD?
Hi, thanks for your comment. Do you mean Uploading or Downloding the source through the visualization during the run time? I don't thin kthat this is possible.
Yeah, that would be the idea. I know this is not possible with Siemens TIA, but some of the Siemens clone products offer a library to create a backup file and load the backup from memory card when booting the cpu. It might be possible on specific hardware for codesys, but I did not find anything yet.
@@user-jo9ns6ec2v Possibly, but I also have not seen any CODESYS compatible PLC with this characteristics.
Where can i learn about codesys from basics
You can start by looking at my Road Map document: th-cam.com/video/UEYMi9hZYP4/w-d-xo.html
I am covering the basics of the CODESYS in my videos and this document will help you to navigate among them.

Con codesys posso usare siemens S7 1200
Per caso se si può fare, ha già fatto un video che riguarda l'argomento grazie
