Protesters in Rivers State laid siege on several Local Government Area secretariats in the State following the expiration of the 3-year tenure of the Council Chairmen.
The State Government is resisting attempts by the Chairmen to remain in office in what is the latest twist to the dispute between Governor Siminalayi Fubara and the Minister of FCT, Nyesom Wike.
