Hi, thanks for the baby shoe pattern. I look forward to making some for baby gifts. Would you happen to have bigger sizes for kids or even adults? I would love to make a pair for myself
I do use an industrial sewing machine with a compound walking foot. If you add a walking foot and a leather needle you may be able to get through 3 oz leather.
For the upper, I'm using 3-4 oz deer tanned cowhide leather (make sure it has a rounded feel and it's not overly rigid). For the soles, I'm using a 3 oz suede. The elastic is a 1/4 in.

Great question. I've cut this leather with the Cricut Maker in the past, and this particular leather is too soft and the temper was too light to cut well.

I haven't developed any other sizes unfortunately. You might be able to find some other shoe patterns on Etsy though.
