My boss got the Skyward Sword remaster and could not beat the first fight against Ghirahim, and brought it to work to have me beat him for him. This being a man who's beaten BotW 100%
There's a lot of youtubers out there whose gimmic at the beginning is goofy person who is jokingly/ironically bad at video games. Eventually they all get good and usually when they go they lose their charm and humility and what made them fun to watch in the first place. But not Quin. You got good and are so delightful to watch and your laugh is so pure. Keep being you 💙
Definitely worth doing side quests quin .. the music in this game slap's.. great to see you back playing a bit of ss . And the thought of you waving that control pad like a loon makes me laugh so hard 😂

All I want is to see Quin bond with Malroth in Dragon Quest Builders 2. That story line, the bunny girl costumes, the whole thing was such a perfect game.
Malroth is the single reason that got me through the flaws of that game. Actually i loved it in general but OMG I can make coffee for my entire family in the time it takes to sit through the unskipable back screen disalogues and its the only reason I haven't had the heart to replay it.

Reminder that Quin hasn't beaten the Cave of Ordeals, and with the way things are going in his new playthrough of TP things are looking rough for that prospect.
I really loved the Silent Realms, I would frequently replay them here. I also think Skyward Sword has some of the best bosses in the series, such as Demise and Koloktos, and some of the best dungeons in the series, my favourites being the Sky Keep and Sandship. That being said, as far as bosses go, my favourite video game bosses are still from Metroid Prime 2: Echoes. Keep up the good content! I often stay up at night till you upload just to watch your videos, that's how good they are. (Your videos come out at around 9-10 PM in my time zone.) See you in the next video! EDIT: I forgot to mention this, but in my opinion, Skyward Sword has the best soundtrack in the Zelda series. The orchestra did an amazing job!
@@captainhufflepuff501 that is one nice thing with motion control combat. Other zelda games fall flatter in the immersion department, because it feels like yoi control someone in front of you, while skyward sword makes you feel like you are in the game
Agreed, aside from the stabbing being finicky, loved the motion controls, very satisfying slashing at the enemies! Also, I was terrible at the other control scheme so motion was the way to go for me😊
Love seeing this game again! One tip for the girahim fights that may just be something you forgot from your playthrough if you come back to this. You can do a quickspin horizontally around you by flicking the joycons away from each other (so flick the left one left and the right one right). And a vertical quickpin by flicking one joycon up and one down, shouldn't matter which is which for that one.

Oof... That was pretty brutal, lol Those are definitely first time playing times. Tips for the imprisoned, forget about his feet. Take a wind current up above him, then jump onto his head ;) With that second Ghirahim fight, you have to do a flip with your sword. Wiggling both joycons sideways does a spin attack. Wiggling them both up and down does the flip. You'll get there. Getting the Hylian Shield takes some work in this game for sure, but it's a fun challenge:)

Holy cow, this series was the one that made me first find your channel. I wasn’t expecting you to revisit it. A surprise to be sure, but a welcome one.
You can stop Ghirahim's little Link stabbers with spin attacks (shake both joycons either up, down, left, or right together). You can fake him out by holding your sword to one side so he sets his hand there, then swing from the opposite.
Maybe someone's said already, but for that Girahim attack you pull both joycons up or push the both down. It gives you a vertical spin compared to moving them both left or right which gives you a normal one.

@@QuinBoBin The Shield Bash in Skyward Sword is truly busted. It breaks the enemy's guard. For most enemies this means having them recoil. For Stalfos this means their arms are knocked off. For Deku Babas this means they're dazed, standing upright with their stems free to cut.

You should know if you attempt the boss rush again, that rewards don't stack, so if there is a prize you want, you'll need to end the rush there to get it, or it will be replaced by the next tier reward and you'll have to start over. (But you don't need to reset the game, just do the rush again.)

The absurdly sturdy shield was the Hylian Shield, which cannot break. You could fight circles around Demise.

Combat in skyward sword is way more interesting than in other games, because it feels like actual fighting.
