Class looks and plays like a cross between monk and witch doctor. The Jaguar seems the most fun to me. The Eagle came off as a little underwhelming compared to the rest. I feel that the Gorilla ultimate is the most consistently useful overall. But all in all, excited to play this class.
I like it. I can already see directions I wanna go with the abilities. Similar to the druid, you're building for agility/speed or dmg/Def. I'm thinking centipede/gorilla or tiger/eagle combos. There seems to be flexibility in going all in on one boon but some fundamental abilities are locked to a specific boon. Like the eagle basic, gorilla core, centipede cooldown and ultimate or something like that
Skills look cool, so as bosses. But levels looks very similar to what we have now. Would be nice to bring freshness here, some similarity to d2 kurast square levels for example.

this character has a little bit of everything from all of the current classes. looks badass! EDIT: the more i watch this, the more i realize that maybe that was the point of this character. lol i know nothing about the lore of this guy
They want to make it seem very powerful here. But in the first season update they will massively nerf the class. That's what they always do when one class is fun and powerful. Rather than bring the other classes up to that level, they destroy the class that's having success. See season 5 Barb as an example.
Although zi agree, just nerfing barb into oblivion was a bad idea, but the class was so rediculously overpowered that atleast some nerfing was warranted.
They should of had the spirit born have this aura thing sort of glowing off you that shifts into the different spirts as you attack. Just having the giant animals come in for a half second looks clunky. Not quite companion and not quite magic. This still looks alright though.
I wouldn’t be surprised if they don’t release any actual holy class in this game it almost seems like they legit don’t want to at all. If they do I wouldn’t be surprised if the character is extremely mocking itself

So they added Monk, almost exactly and didn't even try to hide it a class that may not be in D2 but was in D3 and the expansion for D1. Even down to the quirks like the staff, sorry GLAIVE will instant transmission from your hands unto your back because they decided to make a class revolve around hand to hand combat but steal wields weapons taking the term stick to a new level; no hyperbole there attacks here that are identical in animation and effect it is almost offensive. There is just something so nu Blizzard to tell their customers that they refuse to add the class people want because they are too hardworking and inspired to rehash an olderclass, they wont rely on nostalgia, it was only because they listened to "our" demands that the base game released with 5 almost unchanged classes from the original games. Then this "new" class stuck behind a DLC paywall turns out to be an unoriginal clone like the first 5 because they cannot come up with anything else; thing is marketing said the data shows that nostalgia wont sell as well as something new so they changed its name.
Still haven't played D4 because none of the original classes seemed nearly as cool as D3. Just found out there's an expansion coming out, and this is the new hero? Where is a monk, a crusader, a paladin, or witch doctor? They would be so awesome in this game. Blizzard is shooting themselves in the foot. Still have zero interest in playing
I'm already (a little) hyped about the addon, but not because of the new class, but because the "awsome world" is being expanded/enlarged AND there's more quality of life and the game is generally better.
I feel this expansion is just a tip of the iceberg don't fogot there are 2 more or if I rember one more exp to come out the story is all ready set we just have to wait unfortunately 😕
Adding a new zone the size of Scosglen is still a large area. This is par for all the games in this series (Harrogath for D2, Westmarch for D3). You want them to remake the world map each expansion? 🙄

This class is like the witch doctor and monk had a baby. I am very disappointed and would have rather appreciated a paladin. Would even fit lore wise as paladins often travel
Paladin would be nice but would have been predictable and I would rather the development team present a class they are excited to work on as opposed to doing something they are not at least for the 1st class, besides taking risk gives birth to innovation.
I think an online game should be given a *free update* constantly to retain their players not forced to spend money to enjoy new content...I am very disappointed with blizzard Better buy a new game and waiting new game like Path of Exile 2 than spent an extra money for this pricey DLC 😢
I miss when the game was more slow-paced. Now, everyone moves at 200% speed, attacks 100% faster, and the entire screen is filled with exploding fireballs, blizzards, and other effects. Also, one of Blizzard's biggest mistakes is making the beautiful world in Diablo feel very small by allowing instant teleportation wherever you want to go. Instead, they could just have a room where you see a bunch of portals, each leading to different activities if they wanted this approach.

Scosglen is the largest area in the game currently, and this is an expansion, it would be unneccesary to make it extremely big.
