I have never seen a craft section in the thrift stores I frequent. One of my goals, this year, is to branch out and shop some new stores and see what I can find. If I can’t find what I’m looking for, can I come shop with you? Hahahaha! I love all your purchases and can’t wait to see what you do with them. The table runners were called dresser scarves, back in the day. My mother (and her contemporaries) had them on bedroom dressers and chests to protect the furniture. I did a lot of embroidering when I was young, and I have a hard time leaving hand work in thrift shops. I know how many stitches/hours went into them and feel they should be cherished. That thrift shop always has a large amount of inventory in the craft section. Its pretty unique in that aspect.🙂
