    I like the idea that, narratively, the GDI send you to destroy their greatest enemy after a long campaign with just a con yard, a medium tank, an apc and five grand. I think they actually give you more to establish a beachhead as some no-name commander in level 1.

      So true, you suppose to take down the world most powerful leader and they give you the absolute budget army lol

      Same with that you conquer like every country owned by NOD and they still have mass units, can produce tanks (wherever), etc

      I think NOD takes some pity on you in this variant, they give you a basically free power plant and comm center. Bad move Kane.

    This has to be the easiest variant of the final mission. You control 3 blossom trees right next to your base and you can only be attacked through a rather small choke point that is easily towered up. You cannot lose this map unless you purposefully try to do so.

      This level is still annoying as the AI can just build where they want. So you need to take over buildings in the Northern base in order to secure it. Thankfully the mission is pretty easy afterwards as you can then just destroy the biolab meaning that no more nukes. Then it is just a case of massing forces to take the base out.

      15B was the hardest one, 15A pretty ok.... C was just a cakewalk, 1 entry for them to enter. Yeah okay the engineers come in from below, but those are easily taken care of.

      I kind of found 15B to be easiest. Since there is only 1 attack point, and cause the outpost Airfield is easy to hit, that one is easiest to bottle in, if you move fast enough. The challenge of it is that the AI attacks so quickly, so you gotta bottle the AI up fast. So, it can be hard, but if you just want the Hard achievement, just quickly sandbag the entrance and the mission is easy.
      15A was a bit harder cause of the 2 avenues of attack and the more open AI base floor plan, but the AI moves so rarely on the east, so it's basically only 1 point. Just like what 15C looks like.

    Hmm cant complete this mission on normal. Nuke strike comes and my entire base is gone and cant produce new base, even if i have the tech for that... Rip game...

      The nuke will always target your most expensive area, that's why I built advanced towers far away from my construction yard. Also, if I remember right, nukes are scripted and will be triggered when you destroy/attack certain bulding.

      One trick, and I'm amazed it still works in the remaster, is to build an Advanced Guard Tower far away from your Con Yard. It appears that the AI first targets an AGT nearest the edge of the map, the idea being that the AGT on an edge is supposedly protecting a flank, so destroying it opens an attack lane, even if the AI doesn't attack that way. So, place sandbags until you are near the edge, then build the AGT, and since the nuke doesn't destroy sandbags, leave a couple of them nearby so you can quickly rebuild the AGT (it'll stay the main target if the AGT gets rebuilt). Also, after confirming the AI targets that one, consider selling the tower after hearing "nuclear launch detected" to get some money back, since, unlike AI airstrikes, a nuke can't be re-targeted.
      So, in this video, where Zod built the line of AGT in front of the first bridge, just sandbag up the hill and to the left and build an AGT near the upper left ridge of that hill. The nuke should hit it instead of the main defense line.

      Sidenote: I should preface that I didn't do this mission yet at this comment and haven't tested, but in West, the nuke hit my northern most AGT (nearest edge of map) and Center, I placed an AGT on the starting island because engineers were airlifted there and that was hit by all the nukes, even though I had big clusters of AGT elsewhere in both missions. Both were closest to the map edge.

      And then 15C mocks me and follows a completely different rule for nuke targeting, unless it's because I was putting 4+ AGTs in clusters. So, avoid building more than 3 AGT in clusters if you place an edge of map AGT. Good luck!

    i want to like this game but its poorly implemented. Instead of pushing you to learn multitasking resource management and micro control, we are forced to use weasel tactics of capturing structures and building base defenses in an enemy base while they have 30 infantry nearby that act like nothing is going on... and adaptive ai response- like if you stay huddled in the corner at the beginning they leave you alone, but if you expand to the bridge they attack sooner...

      Yeah. You would think that a cleared base stays clear but nope. AI can place buildings where he wants, so capturing them is the only option.
