Loved the walk about! The purple flower reminds me of shasta daisies. Even the foilage on them. I do not know what that little short plant was but it sure was cute and pretty! Nice seeing Gypsy enjoying the walk! Thank you for sharing your rockhounding adventures!

The erosion in those rocks was pretty cool.i would definitely lean towards quartzite.looks like a nice place to get lost in the rocks.

With a couple of National Parks within stone throwing distance, you can be sure the scenery will get better! For rocks, I remember finding some on this trip but nothing super spectacular.

Nice video Marc, I'll check out that road next time I drive through that area, I hadn't found that one yet

      Good morning, Kenny.
While that road is fine enough, you should know that near to the end of it is a sand dunes motorized recreation area. Lots of activity. Great if you are into it, but not really my thing. Lots of good roads in the area though, as you will see in the coming videos. :D

President Trump wants to go to Mars, maybe we should all just visit eastern Utah? Interesting video Marc.

I probably missed it if you have mentioned it , just wondering how you are heating your little palace when you are in the outback?

No heat other than the camp stove. This particular Nov. 5th was an Indian Summer day. Weather is still nice perhaps a bit crisp at night and the early morning. Just a warm sleeping bag or blankets and my little dog.

Do you still have the larger trailer, or is this it?

I do still have the 6x10. I don't know what I'd do without it! :D
This is the 4x6, which I still have as well.
This video was made 6 months before I bought the 6x10, so all of that was still a dream when I recorded this video.

I don't know what you've heard before.. Seems like I got into a few jasp-agates somewhere down the road. It's been some time since I've reviewed the footages. We will just have to see! :D

    NOVEMBER 5, 2024 OR ???

This video series was recorded in November of 2021. Over 3 years ago.
I like to think that camping trips are essentially timeless. These places change so little over the years that "when" hardly matters at all. Though it is nice to see Gypsy so energetic in these older videos.
