RMC Picture Wah vs Chase Tone Gypsy Wah

Comparison video for a guy over at TGP.net. Both great wahs, just different. I like the gypsy better over all.
2003 RMC Picture Wah w/o buffer
Chase Tone Gypsy Wah w/buffer
Strat into Pedals into JTM1c. When I kick on extra dirt it's a JHS Morning Glory v4, hi position. Empress Reverb for spring, into Chase Tone Golden Secret Preamp into Strymon Deco.

The Gypsy sounded clearer and more articulate. RMC sounded darker. At least to my ears. Both good. But Gypsy takes the win.

I have a Gypsy wah. It easily beats the RMC. The Gypsy wah has that extra vibe sound lacking in most wahs. I wonder how the Gypsy wah would sound with the Chase Tone "vocal" pot?

It absolutely does. RMC is solid, but the Gypsy knocks it out. Might have to look into that CT Vocal pot!

chase tone has a broader range and it sounds clearer. chase tone wins in my opinion.

Is first pedal in series true bypass? Or affecting 2nd pedal tone?

Hi The chase is more Open, I need to ask,Would you be able the run the RMC with out the buffer if the buffered chase wah wasn't right there in front of it? Seems like without the buffered wah there the RMC would be a squealing pig

You can set more or less Wah easily, adjusting potentiometer rate
