I think when she originally recorded it, the emotion of what she felt about the situation at the time, came out in the song. This version comes across much softer, like she's not mad about it anymore. Her voice sounds beautiful but I'm missing that raw emotion 💜
I totally understand and I feel like you could hear this lack of emotion in many of the re recorded songs. But I guess it's just time doing its own letting us grow and mature. They should make a TV Series based on Taylor Swift's albums. She's a fantastic songwriter so it would translate beautifully to on screen. Every Episode should be based off of a song off the album. Each season is a different album and each episode is based on a song. I think it be really cool as a creative writer.
