The Universal - Blur (The Halls, Wolverhampton - 26th May 2023)

And so came the last tune and inevitably it was The Universal. It ended an incredible night of passion from both band and fans. I have to say at the end of The Universal I shed a tear because I was privileged to be one of the fans that witnessed beauty. Blur rocked the hell out of Wolverhampton and I hope it's not the last time in God's country.
The Universal for the uneducated is from the British Gas advert. The song is from the 1995 album The Great Escape.
Once again thank you Blur and for me I'll see you on Sunday 9th July.

Funny how they're in Wolverhampton. Think it's due to the fact that apparently in the 90s, a group of fans from Wolverhampton who were 'Blue fans' were going to down to a Blur gig, where Oasis were doing in the same town, looking to scrap with Oasis fans.
