Jump Jump is the best event they have in this show, hands down. its always the most hilarious clips.
I think that’s why they kept it. The one they should have kept is the sand jump because it’s more fair for all the contestants.
I’m also curious to see the rate to which the player that wins Jump Jump wins the gold at the end of the show. Obviously any first place finish helps you get the gold, but I feel like winning Jump Jump is the true sign of a potential champion.
Jump jump really is a fantastic event, it's right up there with the rings in the obstacle course, only diff is it's a little bit less dangerous and lawsuit inducing. I'm not a junior Olympian or anything and I think jump jump would prob be the most difficult event, it's got all the traits of a good event, timed,physically difficult, requires coordination, and at times is a mental event because the fastest way is to get to the second hurdle and kick off the wall to the bridge instead of trying to jump to it

Y’all missed the funniest part. When Bianca finished the second bungle jump event and the staff member was walking her off, the camera was on her and the staff member flopped her hand around to make her wave at the camera. It looked like she was being held against her will and made to look like she was having fun.
I saw it. She took one of those hurdle posts to the face. She was about to cry, this show was already probably getting a lot of kick back from injury complaints already by then.
She kinda looked like she was crying on the podium too.
I mean as competitive as I was a kid I probably would have felt like crying too after that complete just one sissies ass kicking.

It is still mathematically possible for Jimmy to win the season - but for that to happen, Jimmy would need to get 1st place and have Jake get 3rd place in every single event in the next episode.
The most points possible that can one can gain over their opponent in one episode is 1150.
All 1st place finishes: (300 x 4 + 725 = 1925)
All 3rd place finishes: (100 x 4 + 375 = 775)
Difference: (1925 - 775 = 1150)
More likely that Jake gets a dud picking third than Jimmy gets a GUTS legend. The difference between them is 1080 according to the graphic (which feels like it's probably wrong) which means they each need perfectly good and bad games respectively

First time they have changed one event in the middle of a four game series. Wave pool was changed to totally tubular. That wave pool was horrible

@7:29 Interesting- (probably mentioned before) on the "Spill Your Guts" segments, the background video seems to be the training or auditions- there is a bigger rope net climb and balance beam. Looks like a completely different venue.

I agree that Jimmy likes to play mind games with his opponents usually, but I think he's right that -175 points is worth it to get the first draft in the final episode.
First pick in the draft definitely gives you the element of you controlling your own destiny, but on the other hand 175 points isn't nothing. It's going to come down to what that final draft looks like. Hopefully team Joezack gets to choose between two little girls in wheelchairs and one all-state athlete with a five o'clock shadow.
@cameronl1859 I'm saying that JoeZack only had to pay 175 points to Jimmy in this episode. In return they get the #1 draft pick in the final episode.
Except that would mathematically have clinched the season for Jake. It's only barely possible Jimmy could come back but it's still theoretically on the table.

Two main takeaways:
1. Bianca gave JR a run for this money for worst and most hilarious horse-event failure. JR's was probably worse but Bianca managed to knock the one pole into the other pole and knock it down.
2. Joez: "We're rooting for like weird stuff now, man." Exactly. I've said it several times in the comments and I'm saying it again now, the system of adding up the GUTS point totals for the season is a wonky and terrible one. It should be about wins, not the margin of victory. In baseball do they decide the playoffs based off of who scored the most runs for the season? No, they determine it based on wins. I really hope the guys go away from this system next season.
You're comparing to one specific sport where they tally wins instead of points. Plenty of other sports (soccer, hockey, motorsports) have a points based system that crowns a season champion based on the total points scored throughout the year. I like that they vary the scoring from season to season to keep it fresh.

Breaking news! All-Time Event Leaderboard Update!!
Jeremy, finally knocked off so many contestants who all scored 7 shots in Slam Dunk, tying for 3rd overall, but now with his 8 all of those kids are off the leaderboard and Jeremy sits in 3rd.
This is the best point scoring yet, and by far...the other ways just constantly end in ties. Joezach have a solid chance at overtaking second place with 300 and some points, as Jake beat third place in this episode by like 700
First Joez gets Guy Who Does Too Much™️ fired, and then Jimmy causes that kid to fall off the course? This is getting spooky
