I wonder how they keep some of the animatronics up and running with the weather changes? Like, I understand some of the ones on the inside of structures doing fine but what about the ones hanging outside? Surely rain and snow cant be good for them?

They do such a good job. In the winter, they add different clothing to them which is a nice touch!
