Corgi was great offering features that Matchbox Super Kings/Speed Kings and the Dinky Toys cars didn't have, which meant Matchbox and Dinky had to step up their game. Corgi started in '56 and saw what the other two were putting out then added clear windows after that interiors, opening parts and so on! This is a very cool casting Bog!!! I have a Corvette and Mini Marcos with the Golden Jacks but no box. These are the reasons why Corgi is my favorite of the three manufacturers!!👍👍👍
I’ve seen the Vette but always with missing parts. I’d love to have the Marcos but never found one. Those eras they were all competing with each other offering those different features you mentioned. As I like to call it the glorious years. Then along came Hot Wheels and changed the game for everyone. Thanks George. 👍👍👍

They were known as the Rover P6 and the one you were showing was the 2000 TC stands for twin carb which is the one my dad had but the most sought after one is 3500 V8 which was a Buick engine same as what went into the Range Rover👍

I still have this one, without box unfortunately, in lightly used condition. All wheels intact. However... it can suffer a suspension problem. Corgi used a plastic having a little flex to it. And in time, that plastic stiffens. When I went to demonstrate the feature, I found the front wheel jack levers were rather stiff. The rear ones were fine. Despite using gentle, gradual force, I found out the hard way that the front plastic parts won't give and eventually snap. Very unhappy about this covert deterioration!

I have 2 . This one and a very rare white version (in slightly playworn /damaged condition . Look for a green one with red interior very rare.
