Interesting! I learned something, too! Bravo! No fault finding, here, but please know that I believe the IRFZ44N to be highly counterfeited/faked, unless purchased from an OEM distributor. I would not want for you to build a nice DIY circuit and have it self-destruct, after all that work, time and expense. Cheers.
Plotting the IFRZ44 results on a log (resistance) scale would have enhanced the bottom end of your graph without dropping the initial data points. I'm not sure if you wanted so much bottom end enhancement or wanted to burden an educational video with logarithms!
Thank you for this easy to understand demonstration, which anyone can replicate at home. Somehow, looking at data sheets still makes my eyes glaze over....This video provides a much-appreciated perspective on MOSFET operation.
