My urologist went straight for the implant I wasn’t aware of any other options for Peyronies disease wow.
While the implant is usually the best option for men with erectile dysfunction or for men over the age of 50, there are definitely other options! It’s important to learn about each of them and choose an experienced and dedicated urologist before making your decision 👍

Do you still have the same length like before the implant? What about the sensitivity?Is it still the same and do you feel your penis warm like when it gets natural erection?

@@kartikrana1633 I'm working on it. Nabbed a device that helps reduce the curve, so I will try that and see but if not. May have to go the more expensive route and get that new Hi-Tech device that helps with it. My is just a straight shooter, can't deviate angle or anything.

Doc , what’s the cost on the implant.
A friend of mine got into a fad called *_"Jelquing"_* a few years ago. It's a forceful sort of stretching using the hands, used to improve size. He said that his girth improved but his organ started looking strange because the base where the fingers couldn't apply pressure upwards, didn't grow, so he quit it.
Fast forward a few years and he has developed Peyronie's. The hourglass constriction is at exactly the place where the Jelq caused a size increase.
He also has limpness and 30 degree deflection, it's like the tissue is broken where the force was applied.
Be careful what stretching techniques you try...
Edit:. update, i am also told to add that he lost at least an inch in length so far, I say so fsr because he's still in the active painful phase.

It's the 21st century and PD is still a big mystery. Current therapies are terrible, too invasive and ineffective. There's a recent study on the making of an artificial corpus cavernosum, this could be the solution.

I'm still confused about my situation and I can't find any answers. I noticed a small lump in my penis, pretty much in the middle and pea sized. Went to urologist, he said it's scar tissue. Asked if there is any bending or pain and I said no. That was in 2019 and it is still pretty much the same and nothing ever happened. Is this still "peyronie's" and why is there no bending happening?
I had it two years, I just started Verapamil injections today, and was told to use a pump starting tomorrow. They will do 12 injections every two weeks. Will it work? 90° curve. Update, saw another Dr, second opinion, he injected the med into it to get it erected and he said that's not a 90° curve it's a 45-50° curve, he said my options were Xyliflex or surgery, I read all negative reviews about Xyliflex including fracture! And getting surgery very well can affect sensitivity so I'm still here with a 50° bend

How come you didn’t mention ESWT as a non-invasive option? Or did I miss it?
ESWT has been proven to not help curve with Peyronie's disease. Anyone advertising otherwise is (unfortunately) incorrect! It can help with pain in the acute phase, but so can ibuprofen which is much more cost-effective.
