@Sixten Ålin that is a terrible idea. tyrandes significant dps increase happens in 16, and that talent is also quite shaky and you cant siege with it. you cant draft her as a dps support. her damage can hit high as malfurions. you can spam aa after 16 but that has to be a troll game if you carry your team. tyrandes kit isnt designed for sustain anyways. you can consider picking it as potentially strong damage increase. but empower is really good since it gives an instant damage to the target you are focusing, and makes your debuff more available.
it is also very wrong to say that tyrande is flexible. she is basivally a more niche version of malfurion. map specific, because in some maps you dont have anything to aa in obj. tyrandes waveclear is one of the worst, dps also makes her hard to capture camps. tyrande is also really bad against offensive teams unless you can make them taste their own medicine.
malfurion is more versatile. his burst is worse but his tf is better. he can root multiple opponents or create a root zone for divers. malfurions ults are also stronger for teamfight. tyrandes stun+hunters mark makes her a more takedown oriented. I like tyrande when you dont need cleanse and you play in tomb to constantly aa, then she kinda turns into a burst heal malf or tyrande is good with stitches against a defensive team.
@Sixten Ålin its also important to note that she can be good with vikings+roam. she can be good in immortals with hunters mark too. but she is one of the rarer niche supports with notoriously bad dps. she is bursty but yeah..
@Sixten Ålin I really wonder what rank you play tyrande. Owl is really bad is terribly wrong. Tyrande amplifies knockdowns and empower adds 7% on demand and lowers debuff cd to 12, you can use it twice in a tf.
Hunters mark+trueshot is STRONG for boe but that map is really REALLY poke or teamfight heavy. Tyrande is a rare sight on that map too in serious games. Tyrande can function with follows like reallt good with imperius but otherwise her tf is WEAK. At least until you get the debuff.
Tomb is better because she can turn into a burst+sustain monster and sentinel vision is really really strong in that map.
I like stun range more. It also adds 184 more damage counting hunters mark. And makes your follow up impossible to miss. Big cc range+high stun damage is one of her sttengths.

I actually like the % health at 16 if I don’t need the cleanse, 7% is not bad and it just gives you that little bit of extra burst damage that you need to blow someone up once your tank engages on them. Generally I like stacks at 1 though cause it’s more valuable to have the consistent extra damage on that stun than to have it give you extra damage on your W but only have it be significant when you are throwing it across the map. I guess the advantage is you can potentially DR 2 people at lv 13 but idk it’s hard to get the double hit of it onto 2 damage dealers.

I always pick that 4 talent, makes tyrande an almost good solo healer
The other one is way better. Problem with that one is you need to divide it between 2 people to get value out of it and a lot of the time a fight will come down to whether or not you can save one person who is getting absolutely blasted by everyone on the other team dumping their kits into them.
ethan herrin disagree, a lot of time you don’t even get to attack with Elune’s chosen and it has a long CD.
They are two different talents. One is more sustained team heals, the other is bursty diver heals. They obviously have their advantages over one another. Pick what your team needs most based on them and the opponent. There is no "better" without context.
Sixten Ålin There’s just so many instance that one teammate lose a bit HP, while the other is less than half HP. This talent is great. Elune’s chosen maybe good in a long fight, but most fight consists of bursty assassin who can outburst the slow heal of Elune’s chosen

The two talents have comparable healing output in most circumstances. Their application is different. Elune gives fat single-target burst if you can shoot stuff, Everlasting spreads sustain healing. Elune protects a tank or diver, Everlasting helps against poke. Elune is great near minion waves or against a frontline, Everlasting gives more safety and secures heals without targets. You go auto build and spread Trueshot Darnassian on all enemy heroes, Elune makes one person unkillable for 8 seconds. You don't go full auto and they attack more than one target, Everlasting helps heal even on chase or retreat.
If you stack Darnassian infinitely, Elune can heal tens of thousands of HP. If you cannot attack safely in a teamfight without getting mauled, Everlasting gives more value.
Different playstyles. Elune being higher risk and reward. Safe sustain with Everlasting or strong burst with Elune.

Why do HOTS players care about dmg?
If they didn’t get the kill it shouldn’t matter since they can still get globes, passive heal, or active heal. There is no exp benefit, they can still soak exp, camp, obj.
