Natsuki Crisis Battle (なつきクライシスバトル) is a 1995 video game that was released exclusively for the Japanese Super Famicom.[1] Based on the two-episode OVA and manga Natsuki Crisis, which was serialized in the magazine Business Jump,[2] the player can choose from eight characters and fight on locations such as inside a budō gym, outside a high school and other locations.
OMG! Natsuki Crisis was one of my favorite fighting school-girl anime back in the day. If you have not watched it, give it a try [only two episodes]. There's nothing particularly special about it, and is not very popular, but it has a place in my heart. I'm happy to see LG give the game a try!! Edit: Natsuki looks gorgeous in the credits.
I've seen the OVA though it only adapted the first two chapters with her first rival (Rina) and the college wrestling tomboy (Kandori). Her Sensei (Yanagisawa) was voiced by the infamous Asuma Sensei's Voice actor.
@10:06 Dude , im a sucker for badass tensioned filled scenery and set-pieces . Especially this part is absolute badassery . Middle in an empty schoolyard while a rainstorm pours down like its the end of the world and the thunder ravaging in midst of a heated battle with an soundtrack that underlines the sheer brutality and build up of this said fight . We need more scenes/stages/scenarios where its raining or storming like this .
No matter what you say about everything else in the game, there's no way to deny this is a very advanced style of story mode. And specially surprising to be in a kinda bland Snes only fg. Like, show me a list of famous fgs doing story mode in this same way in 1995... There are not many. Art of Fighting 1-2 are the closest ones to this style, and must be the actual reference for this game. But it went further than AOF in the cutscenes.

Once again excellent like most karate Kyokushin influence which extreme karate is all about OSU! The legacy of the Kyokushin founder lives on as it should the world's toughest human beings to have ever lived on the face of this Earth
I gotta say, I kinda love EVERYTHING about this game, with the exception of the "win if I let you" bosses near the end. Other than that, the cutscenes, the character design, the friggin music! This game was definitely someone's passion project.

The SNES has so many beautiful fighting games. Look at the work on the sprites, pure art.
The sprites are kinda puny, TBH.
