Global Alumni Meet-2024, Panjab University Chandigarh: Inaugural Ceremony

The Panjab University Alumni Association (PUAA) organized its 5th Global Alumni Meet- 24 on 21 Dec, 2024. The Chief Guest of the Inaugural Ceremony was Sh. Jagdeep Dhankhar Ji, Hon'ble Vice President of India and Chancellor, Panjab University Chandigarh. The event was also graced by the presence of dignitaries including Sh. Acharya Devvrat, Governor of Gujarat, Sh. Atul Karwal, Former Director General, National Disaster Response Force, Sh. Shekhar Gupta (Padma Bhushan), Editor in chief-The Print and Dr. K K Paul, Former Governor, Uttrakhand, Meghalaya, Manipur, Nagaland, Member of UPSC and CP, Delhi. Prof. Renu Vig worthy Vice Chancellor, Panjab University & PUAA President welcomed the dignitaries.
On this occasion PUAA honored its Golden and Silver batched alumni pass out on 1974 and 1999 various Distinguished Alumni's from Departments were also honoured by Prof. Renu Vig, Vice Chancellor, PU.
The event were followed by cultural programme in Law Auditorium & Musical evening and Gazal Night at Alumni house in the presence of Prof. Renu Vig, Hon’ble Vice-Chancellor, PU, Prof. Y P Verma, Registrar, PU, Prof. Rumina Sethi, DUI, PU and other dignitaries.
