Since I started using the throw away cups my resin experience has improved. I love silicone cups but cleaning them is a pain. Thanks to Julie for using them it saves so much time.
I have a problem binge watching too! She's very instructive but her lovely enthusiasm is what makes this channel so fun to watch. I've always thought learning should be this much fun.
While watching you work on the back, I started to get really worried 😅 It was looking like mold spores and fuzzy bread for a minute and then you flipped it over and I was like "oh thank goodness, cause I can't look at that anymore😂 My son came in while I was watching and he was just rambling about a comic book he was reading and looked up at my screen and stopped mid sentence just to say "What in the world is she doing to that bread?" But it looks so cool when you turned it to the front, I didn't even mind the blob. It looked nice
What you said about the black powders is something artists have hemmed and hawed about for a while. How do you make it shiny, which will make it somewhat reflective, without compromising the nice deep black that it is? Sadly, with black there is no compromise, and you kinda have to settle for a more matte quality to the powder to achieve that blacker look, which is partly why the other powders come across as more of a dark gray. It's why 'true black' paints and things are something you'll see having frequent test videos for here on yt. People want to see how close they can get to vantablack without being actual vantablack with all its weaknesses. An incredible sight to see, but not that durable, or (more importantly) _safe_ for people. That being said, I think what you have there is an excellent product--very nice, and dark!
It's so pretty! 😄 The white in the center actually didn't look bad this time but the sticker looks good too so either way works for me. Love the mold too. ❤ Now I'm just patiently waiting to see my favorite cool colors (blue, purple, green and silver) in this mold. 😉
Amazing results with the colors you used. I thought “oh no, too much gold, stop, stop!” But wow, it came out so beautiful!!! Love the colors it created and I love the square mold. And so glad you went with the sunflower sticker because I personally don’t like the sunbursts but that’s just me. This one is just so beautiful!!! Thank you for showing us your process. It really helps! ❤
19:31 you can also take the back off and instead of tossing, use it to place the sticker. Put the backing back on halfway, on the back half of the sticker. Then place down, reposition, when set, lift half and remove backing. It gives the sticker a little handle! Lol
22:16 I always feel like a time traveler when I watch your videos. There is never a time I don’t fwd to unmolding to get a peak 😂 then back to watch the rest. I watch you in the past yet somehow I know what it’s going to look like before YOU DO! Have you thought about that lol
The 3D effect with the white center looks great. First white center I actually like. ❤❤❤ the effects on this one. I’d use a small red gemstone in the center if it was me. I tend to use gemstones occasionally as I’ve got tons of them. 🥰 this but like the center without the sticker.
I think that’s actually a daisy. Sunflowers have very short, yellow petals, in comparison to the center. In my experience, the centers can vary from 4” to nearly a foot across.
The square works well! I was pondering what an opaque layer of resin on the back would be like, and when you mentioned the middle being see through, the idea seemed more of a curiosity to me. The flower you put in the middle of this one does look really appropriate though, with the center colored similar to the coaster.
It's beautiful. Kindly suggest what to do if the bottom side of the mold don't turn as good as the upper side. Can I use the good side? Any tips how to redeem.
Grazie grazie grazie ,
So pretty! Love the square mold. I kept wondering what would happen if when you did your spirals, you did them square instead of circular? Like follow the contour of the mold itself. Anyway, that's just how my crazy brain works 😂
Julie your gloves. You're allergic to resin. I don't want you to get it on your hands The center blob is textured so it looks more like a flower center. It's very pretty 😍 Marva from Marvelous Artsy showed a trick using two pieces of tape to get the sticker backing off. She stuck two small pieces of tape on each side and then pulled them apart and the backing separated from the sticker easily. You might want to try that.
As talented as you are why not make a silicone tray for the bottom of your degassing machine so when things like that happen you can recover any resin that bubbles over
Wow it is an amazing finish. Just love it. The. Sunflower sets it off. Yea 😊😊😊😊❤❤❤
PLEASE do these colors again Julie 🙏❤ I love watching you do your thing. Thank you for being you.
Absolutely gorgeous! ❤❤❤
Ohhhh..it's gorgeous coral colours.. love the edge..❤😊
Ok breathe innnn and realise Amazingggggg L❤VE the square mold… now a triangle… ooooo a star mold yessss ❤❤
The colors work very well together. A square mold gives it this rough stone look. Beautiful 🤩
Thanks so much 😊
Both sides are really pretty, but I think the back is the prettiest.
I really like your new mold. Your flower turned out beautifully and the daisy in the middle highlights the pattern of the flower.
*GORGEOUS* colors, Julie, and that is a wonderful mold! 😍💕😊
I love the color scheme, super gorgeous!!!
I didn’t get to watch this video back when you posted it so I finally got to watch it and love this mould. The results are very pretty 😍.
Beautiful! Colours are lovely!❤
Very pretty! I love the gold sparkle. 😍

This was a cutie 🥰💖💪🏾🦄
Beautiful ❤❤❤
Very pretty as always. ❤
Since I started using the throw away cups my resin experience has improved. I love silicone cups but cleaning them is a pain. Thanks to Julie for using them it saves so much time.
I really like the square mold. Beautiful piece.
It looks beautiful! The sticker is nice, but if you had put a dark center, then it would definitely look like an Evening Sunflower 😊
Very beautiful it looks like a giant flower
My sister and I watched a weekend of your tutorials. You are an amazing artist. Thank you for sharing your talent.
I have a problem binge watching too! She's very instructive but her lovely enthusiasm is what makes this channel so fun to watch. I've always thought learning should be this much fun.
Beautiful pattern and colors combo ❤

Beautiful! So much gorgeous autumn color! We have trees here that turn the color of that really vibrant, almost pink red you were getting.
Love it
Thank you!

Nice! Very appropriate fall look for here in the United States!🎃

Love the striations, patterns and colors, wow! Thankfully the center is easily fixable. Gorgeous!
Another favorite! I ❤the colors. The white blob acts as the center, of a flower. I would not have covered it up. ❤
I think it would have looked cool with an eye in the center. Creepy, but cool for Halloween.
I love how the colors turned out. I was wondering a square one would look like. Thank you for all that you do. Have a blessed day 🥰🥰🥰
It's so pretty! 😄 The white in the center actually didn't look bad this time but the sticker looks good too so either way works for me. Love the mold too. ❤ Now I'm just patiently waiting to see my favorite cool colors (blue, purple, green and silver) in this mold. 😉
I think this flower is beautiful, the white centre is gorgeous too. I love it. Thank you Julie x❤

It looks so pretty
Have a wonderful holiday! Maybe a Scottish Christmas video. Have a great time! 😊
When you use any debubbler machine use a container at least 2x bigger than you think you will need to keep the resin from overflowing.❤
Good rule of thumb!
I’ve heard fractions/ratios used along the lines of 1:3/1:4 for liquid vs. space.
I love the square mold , Julie & the colors are amazing ! Perfect flower in the middle!
That's kind of cool looking! It would make an interesting clock.
Very pretty❤ Love the new mould and miss the mica tips.

Perfecto me gusta...te quedó increíble con esa técnica
Beautiful!

It seems I too do this!😃
I love watching you create! And this mold is terrific flower 🌸
I love it!😊
I think next time instead of a sunflower, you should use a daisy lol
I like the white center.
That’s great but it’s not a sunflower it’s a Daisy love from me in England 🎉🎉🎉 Anne xxx
Hi Julie ! I love all your videos and big thanks for sharing , where can I find this beautiful mold ?
Beautiful new mold and such a pretty coaster. ❤❤❤. I don’t know why with those stickers, I can’t peel the back off. How did you do that??
Very nice, love the new mode. Can you do a triangle kind of mold, with points at each end. Top and bottom. ?
The 3D effect with the white center looks great. First white center I actually like. ❤❤❤ the effects on this one. I’d use a small red gemstone in the center if it was me. I tend to use gemstones occasionally as I’ve got tons of them. 🥰 this but like the center without the sticker.

Yes, definitely a daisy. Sunflowers also have multiple rows of petals, daisies just have the one. I wonder if daisies aren't native to Australia.
The square works well! I was pondering what an opaque layer of resin on the back would be like, and when you mentioned the middle being see through, the idea seemed more of a curiosity to me. Julie, learning color theory is not difficult! I'm sorry for bothering you with it all the time, but it would solve so many of your problems.
Can you drill/dremel out the center and then refill it?
So pretty! Love the square mold. I kept wondering what would happen if when you did your spirals, you did them square instead of circular? Like follow the contour of the mold itself. Anyway, that's just how my crazy brain works 😂

If you have to take the clear out, whats the purpose of putting it all in there? Couldn't you just put less in to begin with? 15:10
@dianeh2420
Well, whether it's clear, colored, or white, a certain amount is needed for that final "push" (dump), or the design won't turn out right.
Julie I think you mean a daisy not a sun flower lol
🌼🌸🌻
I wonder??? What if you put a cat eye in the middle. If that eye/scale combo would look like a dinosaur looking down on me😮.
🌷🌺💐👍👍👍
Holographic stickers would have worked better.
The square shape just looks so... off for a flower piece...
As talented as you are why not make a silicone tray for the bottom of your degassing machine so when things like that happen you can recover any resin that bubbles over
I liked it better before the Daisy
