Glad to see more jazz street bands along the lines of Tuba Skinny. THIS is what New Orleans is all about as well as the food of course. Also good to see the fellow in the wheelchair was able to retire his pocket trumpet and get a trumpet. He is quite a good player.

How can all those tourists just keep casually strolling by without much more than briefly turning their heads??!! I'd be jumping, and stomping and dancing and moving my ass all over that street to this beat!!!😂😮😊

I am from Germany and I visited
New Orleans for the first time last week. I am more of a Metal guy, but I just love and adore your music! And you have a great voice Sir!
Left for Germany again with a big smile in my face!

I’m glad you enjoyed New Orleans and my video. I’ve spent a lot of time in Germany, and it’s one of my favourite countries to visit! I have a few videos of performers in Berlin and Wurtzburg. Thanks for watching and commenting. John

Your so right! Every time I go to NOLA I video street and bar performers. This is true New Orleans. Check out a video on my channel from Wael and Anna playing “learning to fly” on their violins. Amazing. After the Viper’s finished playing on Royal St. The Krewe du Vieux parade took place. It’s on my channel as well. And thanks for watching this video. I have over 300 and I took them on mY phone.

I shot another song of them after this one, but this is a killer! Later that night on Royal St was the Krewe du Vieux Mardis Gras parade, its on my channel. If you like street and bar performers, I have a few hundred i've taken all over place. I hope you enjoy them. Let me know. Thanks

'Viper Mad' is a song from 1924, composed - according to more than one source - by Sidney Bechet and Rousseau Simmons.

They were raising $100 in between songs. When they got a hundred in the bucket they played again. It was only 5 - 10 minutes to hit $100. Great Band. Check out my other videos. Thanks. John
