I bought the flex shaft to go with the Dremel tool. I loved it, but it did not last too long (a few months of on/off use). I am thinking of using one like you have. It seems to work quite well! :)

How well they performed I appreciate your demonstration and along with some of the Tips and Comments you came up with like the small handle for sharpening the Chisels my Curiosity is if you have at all seen any larger Chisels perhaps more in the half inch range ? why do I ask ? I all the years I installed ArchitectualWoodworking it s elms to me that my 1/2” Chisels were my most used ones as well as in the Shop doing various projects I’m almost wondering if I could Bastardize /Customize a quality 1/2” Chisel to fit in the Chuck of the tool For woodworking Projects I may need to Chisel Mortises or Whatever just a odd thought ? ?
And a really good alternative to this and it's only a few dollars more is an air operated engraving handpiece it's actually a jackhammer instead of just vibrates and they're well made and last for a long time I think I paid 33 or $35 for mine I bought this one first and I still haven't figured it out put the engravers handpiece it's made out of metal and it's made to be a jeweler tool and you don't hold it like a pencil you palm it so you have incredible control and it's not hard to hold on to these are used to do gun engraving a western engraving to set stones in bezel all kinds of stuff
@@silviocardoso367 I I ne I need it to have replacement blades readily available or to know how to sharpen the blades that come with it. Or both those things. Hey nice video. I thought I seen somewhere on my internet travels a guy using a drill and what looked to be a real slim flex shaft. Il love to give it a go but no into buying the whole machine if a drill or rotary like a dremel would do?
From what I've heard you've a better chance at winning the lottery than to happen to have something compatible for it to attach to. So yes buy the whole thing motor and all
The name Human Termite comes to mind, only joking!!! I may get one of these as Arthritis in the fingers you know saves all the hammering, might not be this make or model I`m doing research now. Enjoyed the video though.
If you use diamond burrs you can carve rock pretty easily. But use something like a parts washer to constantly soak your work or invest in lots of HEPA filters and respirator filters to handle the deluge of dust.
I need help I purchase this same chisel came with no instructions I have a Foredom rotary but can't seem to figure how to run and attached this unit, the best part I ask for refund and was told I must ship back and I have to paid the shipment and yes to Malaysia for $ 45.00 I been rip off so don't buy this unit "birdandchip" or keep unit and get back 20% which is $10.00 refund . so any tips how to attach to foredom much appreciated
@@renosmaster actually I bought the foredom and 17 chisels.. loved the chisels.. used the foredom for 5 mins and decided it wasn't me.. I liked the feel of the cutting through wood. Sold everything for a loss.. lol
comprei e não sei como funciona! É a pilha? Bateria? @@uittyman you ever figure what its connected to I got sucker in to this item and ask for refund it will cost me 45.00$ plus charge for tracking item what a rip off must ship to Malaysia or take 10.00$ credit Bird and chip sucks!!!

How do you sharpen the blades? Will a diamond sharpener work with them?
O problema é que gasta muita energia elétrica

Well we all might love it, if we can figure out how to use it.... Can you fill us In on this tool or it's gonna get a lot of negatives.
I wish I would have been able to see how you hooked the hand piece up to the shaft I must be ******** because I can't get it
What kind of motor did you attach that to and where can it be found? I can find the chisel no problem but they don’t come with the motor
Where did you purchase the motor?
Its on Amazon. www.amazon.com/gp/product/B078RK4ZJJ/ref=ox_sc_saved_title_1?smid=A8WPOEQGV1MCX&psc=1
I just received mine today 11/4/2020 that I bought through Walmart $103 delivered
do you know what size is the fitting for the flex shaft? (just have the tool itself)
where did you buy that bro?
Thanks for the video :)
My neighbours would hate me.
😂
What do you think about quality this tools?
Thanks for the video. Can it be attached to a drill or Do you have to buy the motor for it to work?
You can find a dremel extension for it , it is a search for sure .

I cant seem to get mine working like that am I doing something wrong?? thanks
Price?
may I know, what type of wood you are using?
Yes please
The first wood is just 5/4 cedar decking. The round wood was very hard elm .
Not sure how well that plastic is going to stand up before it wallers out.
can you show a video on how it attaches to a drill please
I don't think it would attach to a drill . Have never tried it .
Do you think this would be any good for stone carving? I need a new tool for my fossil and geology prep. The hands don't work so well anymore.
I says it will . some metal as well !
@@renosmaster ok well I guess I'll have to try one out. Thanks.
Is it working on brass engraving??
Cool. Do they make something like this for rock carving (soft stone, like alabaster or soapstone)?
i am sure the same device could be used, just need to find some stone cutting heads

Where do I get the motor?!?!
Damn that thing cuts horrible. You'd have nicer results by outlining your relief and then using a gouge to remove material.
