do you have a tutorial on how to make this an automation? If so, please let me know how to find it! My application is for equipment service, I would like the form to repopulate once the scheduled service is completed. I have the linktoform copying the necessary fields and advancing the date, THANKS TO YOU! But when I try to create a BOT this process will not show up as an option. What can I do to make this work?

Im wondering if you can use this expression to allow a user to populate a form based on selections made on a pre-populated chacklist. Lets say you have a workshop, and uses a form to receive customer parts (Job Card). Is there a way to populate such a job card by means of a checklist, where the user can select multiple items and a form gets populated for each selection?

Hi Paul. That sounds achievable with AppSheet. If you want a little more assistance with that, reach out to us at info@appsheettraining.com

It would have been really helpful to see you run through an example...

Can you use a SELECT function as a dynamic prefilled element for a column in LINKTOFORM function?

Yes you can, Just need to make sure that the expression is returning the right Data Type that the field is expecting!

How represent this expression properly in backend example in google sheet. In my case hundreds of table with unique category and column with hierarchical menu as front end.

I’m not really sure how you would use a deep link function in Google Sheets. It works in AppSheet because they support a URL based navigation system. I’m not sure Sheets supports that.

AppSheet makes it pretty simple to use Scanning in your apps. We recorded a full walkthrough recently: Barcode Scanners - AppSheet
