The scheme around him is a lot better too. Brady was still using Dorsey's playbook last season; this season, it's all Brady's. And the players have talked about how he asks them all what they like and they don't, and both sides have give and take to try different things out. You're not wrong about Allen but Brady really has to be mentioned here too. I mean I agree in some extent but I disagree as well because even before this game he has played the Chiefs and Mahomes better than anyone. He also has an actual run game now which he never had before. Last year he did what he needed to do to win and his defense, Diggs, and kicker let him down. In the 13 second game he did everything he needed to do and then some to win and they lost due to poor coaching and defense. 13 second game should have never happens but for some reason they play prevent defense and let them just run down field for free.
That’s all the Bills needed in the past, give teams multiple things to worry and defend against. All other matchups we were just reactionary, now we dictate play. That’s how you win.
Yeah the few games those two played together fully healthy last year, they destroyed opposing teams offenses. They take away the middle of the field and short passes to running backs and tight ends. Then having two lock down corners in Benford and Douglas. Teams will only be able to run on them, passing will not be effective.
Yeah, they "changed the dynamic" turns out that throwing interceptions loses games. It's AMAZING that the Bills figured that out for the first time in the history of the NFL.
@denzelepolito1 I was talking the Chiefs turning the ball over and losing the game. Without those mental errors they win, but people act like the Bills figured out some shocking new revelation.
I think the coaching advantage Chiefs have is being overlooked here. Chiefs get an opportunity to expose themselves to Bills and go away and get better. I don't think Bills are able to do that to the same degree, and also don't think Reid shows his full hand in the regular season games. And that's why Chiefs win the rematch.
Chris was on the right track with the corners, BUT it's not losing Sneed, it's losing Jaylen Watson. Watson was the security for being able to lose Sneed. When he went down the corner depth was exposed. Veach took a gamble by not trading for a corner and decided to run with what we have. It was a bad gamble.
Exactly! Injuries changed the dynamics between the two teams not anything as substantive as the stated paradigm shift. Watson is 6’2” and McDuffie is 5’11”. Watson was Sneed’s replacement. McDuffie is too small and can’t cover those X size receivers well. Charles Omenihu’s return helps Chris Jones and the DL of the Chiefs pressure QBs again which always helps their coverages and blitz packages. The Spags defense is very vulnerable now without both CB2 Watson and DE Omenihu. Over the past three seasons, and yes, despite two SB wins, the offense of the Chiefs seems to be of more help to their opponents. I'm a diehard bills fan. Went to the Bills vs Chiefs game and it was amazing. However. I am tired of people, including Buffalo Bills Fans saying Josh is asked to do everything. Our offensive line is the best in it.Ever has been and Joe Brady's play calling is on point using our receivers the way they are suited. Josh puts on the Cape when he needs to and nobody in the NFL.Where's the Cape better than him...But let's stop like he's doing it all the time. That was four seasons ago.
We all know that the Bills were going to draft McDuffie if the Chiefs didn't leapfrog them in 2022. I'm curious if the dynamic would've changed a year earlier had the Bills got their man and the Chiefs were lacking that security at the second level. I know it's just one player, but it's such an impactful player/position when these two teams go head-to-head with the best 2 QBs in the league
I agree that losing Watson was big for our defense, But I trust defensive coordinator Steve Spagnuolo & we got Omenihu coming back. Once Pacheco & Marquise Brown are back, we'll be fine.
I think once Mahomes beats Josh for the 4th straight time in the playoffs people will finally realize nothing is going to change. Enjoy the regular season wins Buffalo.
Agree with everything that Simms said, except when he talked about the Bills heavy 6 OL sets. The Bills have been at their very worst this year offensively, out of the 6 OL sets. Until 5 games ago, Buffalo ran these sets 30% of the time...and the result was an inconsistent passing game (Balt & Hou as the glaring examples). They completely flipped their offensive ideology and have since become a more 3 WR set offense (6 OL decreasing to around 10%) and they have scored at least 30 points in each of their last 5 games since, including vs KC.
Its a little worrisome that it took Brady that long to get out of the heavy sets. Josh Allen had his best season in 2021 and they ran primarily out of 3 receiver sets. It also lightens the box for run plays. I just hope they learned their lesson.
@@denzelepolito1 I have been tossing around the "why" of heavy sets for almost a year now. There has to be a reason as to why they stuck with them for so long, because the offensive numbers in these sets and outside of these sets, are too drastically different. I just find it hard to believe that me, myself, could see this issue but it took Brady so long to see it.
Before the season: Bills lost too much, they have no weapons, they'll be lucky to be 3rd in the division. Now: Bills have sooo many amazing weapons! Mack Hollins, Curtis Samuel, wow! Amazing commentary. What a joke. Anything to discredit Allen's impact on the team.
@ Huh? Literally everyone plays the what if game. My point is the Bills didn’t “change the dynamic”. Bills barely won this time and Chiefs have barely won in the past. It’s always been a really good matchup and yall just victim of the moment.
Remember that kid that always swings for the fences? Thats Josh Allen, and the difference is his poise. He swings for the fences, controlled. Swinging for the fences often has negative undertones, implying misses or bad hand-eye coordination, and this is where Josh Allen is different. He took his raw mentality and grew up into a poised, composed, dangerous, controlled true heavyweight fighter.
Great qbs make their recievers better. 90% of fans didnt know who shakir was. And 99.9% didnt know mack hollins or curtis samuel or knox. Lets be real, these are all level B and C players. Even cook isnt a elite rb.
Both were missing key offensive players!! KC hasn’t had Pacheco all year and with their suspect pass protection tackles they have to run the football efficiently to stay ahead of the chains!! They haven’t had Pacheco or Hollywood Brown who will both be back against Buffalo if they meet in the playoffs. Neither team was healthy but most impactful loss in my opinion is not having Pacheco cause he represents what KC’s offensive identity has to be to be impactful which is run the ball efficiently & pass off the run.
Yes I know right Chiefs we’re 100% healthy no injuries. It’s crazy that they didn’t win considering how decimated the Bills were, WR1, W2, RB1, starting corner, starting Defensive end all out, oh wait…
@Jeads5678 Keon,Kincaid, and all pro LB Milano are way more impactful imo. A good running back isn't as important in today's game. Also, a strong O line is the only way you can establish a solid running game.

I'm shocked that we are talking about the Chiefs and the bills, and you have the audacity to claim that McDuffie is the best cornerback in the league when the true best cornerback was on the other side in Christian Benford.
@codyb4123 you might think that if you don't actually watch the two of them play. McDuffie is outstanding, but benford has the most elite technique in the league. He's proven over and over that there is not a receiver he can't cover.
KC has better defense than last year and better weapons over Bills. Only big difference is Allen‘s decision making and athleticism is better than Mahomes

Once Pacheco & Marquise Brown are back, we'll be fine.
benford should be in the convo for top 3 corner in the NFL this season
I mean, if Josh doesn’t pick up that 4th and 2, who is doubting the chiefs going 30-40 yards and getting a game winning field goal?
That’s why they went for it on 4th down. Chiefs would have scored
But they did!
Sure let's play the what-if game. Let me know when you come back to reality I guess that's where Chiefs fans go when they can't stomach losing a game
@ Huh? Literally everyone plays the what if game. My point is the Bills didn’t “change the dynamic”. Bills barely won this time and Chiefs have barely won in the past. It’s always been a really good matchup and yall just victim of the moment.
@@evosmith12winning by 2 scores isn’t “just winning the game” wow smh
Remember that kid that always swings for the fences? Thats Josh Allen, and the difference is his poise. He swings for the fences, controlled. Swinging for the fences often has negative undertones, implying misses or bad hand-eye coordination, and this is where Josh Allen is different. He took his raw mentality and grew up into a poised, composed, dangerous, controlled true heavyweight fighter.
Was an exciting game.
KC just isn’t that offensively good.
Omenihu and Pacheco
Great qbs make their recievers better. 90% of fans didnt know who shakir was. And 99.9% didnt know mack hollins or curtis samuel or knox. Lets be real, these are all level B and C players. Even cook isnt a elite rb.
The problem with the chiefs is they refuse to work their weaknesses hopefully the chiefs will do their homework and work their holes on this game
yeah, bills are missing three offensive options, and you're going to say that they have more weapons than chiefs in that game.... insane
@georgewoolf6300 sorry that was sarcasm I was listing all the chiefs that were out for game making a point about injuries are everywhere
@Jeads5678 Keon,Kincaid, and all pro LB Milano are way more impactful imo. A good running back isn't as important in today's game. Also, a strong O line is the only way you can establish a solid running game.
@@Thisisallthereis777 Pretty sure wr2 is now D hop bud ...but yeah nice try. Bills weren't missing all pro linebacker Matt Milano.. Or number 1 option Te Kincaid ...Or Wr #1 Keon ...Or OL brown
Singletary goes to the left. - Chris is amazing 😂😂😂
Only a few years off
Don’t forget Andy Reid was 11-0 with Alex Smith. It’s more Andy Reid than Mahomes.
Funny how as soon as he doesn’t have the best OLine in the league Mahomes looks like Daniel Jones
Funny how when Allen consistently has great olines he has no rings to show for it.
@@codyb4123 Mahomes has had a silver spoon with Andy Reid, Tyreek & Kelce since he came into the league. Once Andy’s gone, Mahomes will be exposed.
@@BuffaloMotivated yea. Exposed after he wins 5 rings. Great point 👌.
Go Be You Josh - and stay healthy - ❤ There might be a Lombardi waiting for you this Feb
26 is Ty Johnson not Singletary. He hasnt been on the Bills roster since 2022.
It's too bad so much of football talk is just biased fans sticking out their tongues at each other, that childish fratboy stuff -- but all the usual nonsense aside, this was a great game, plenty of tension, two top teams.
It's hilarious. Beginning of tge season until week 6, it was "Buffalo has no weapons, they lost Diggs & Davis, blah blah". Then they get 30 y/o Amari Cooper ND now it's "this is the best set of weapons Allen has ever had..." Come on.
And we were missing 2 of our t op 4 receivers and we do actually have more weapons
The bills do. Coleman, Shakir, cook, Kincaid, and big coop
Kc run defense elite. Secondary suspect and kc left n right tackles on o line are bad bad. If kc wins superbowl this yr I'd be convinced it's fixed lol
MVP does not matter. I'm tired of hearing about it. Ask Allen if he would rather have a SB ring or win MVP. You know the answer.
I enjoyed this convo until new york giants rb2 singletary was mentioned.
Whoever made that comment about weapons and what Josh is being required to do for the offense is flat out wrong. How many YAC yards are the Bills getting?
I hate the national media. I like Buffalo, live in Buffalo but the Bills team still has wholes and can improve. Keep the Bills under dogs. Don’t jump on the wagon and make them more then what they are
This was a glorified scrimmage for KC!! We will see you again when it matters
It was a 2 point game until the last minute, let's not act like it was 40 points.
Chris Chris Chris
The niners were better team (twice)
The eagles were the better team
The ravens were the better team (twice)
But alas Goliath falls
That being said if i remember correctly so far you were right about bo nix
Steve young didn’t win his first Super Bowl with 9ers until season 5, this is Josh’s 5 real year if you think about it
They got them “por los Cojones”! Go Bills!!
Where are the MCDONALDS COLORED Chiefs fans & their cope hard, “that was your SB 😭”?! Please send your coping my way so I can remind u how Mahomes sprinted on the field celebrating after you squeaked by the Denver Broncos.
Gabe ran like 4.5 and he torched the chiefs 😂
Gabe Davis 4.8. lol. Chris is wild.
The Bengals Bill Ravens better win the Superbowl this year!😂😂😂
The whole league is tougher this year, chiefs will have their hands full in the afc playoffs, Pittsburgh, Buffalo, chargers, heck ravens, nfc is tougher too lions are better then last year, eagles are better than last year
Bills line holds like crazy
You must be a Chiefs fan
@@jerischopp6998 not sure what that has to do with Dawkins holding basically every play 😂
Have you tried crying about it?😢
It's got them by the short hairs Chris
Why not just put McDuffie on Shakir and give safety help to whatever outside CB has Amari ?
Who's covering Coleman? Who's covering Kincaid?
He said Gabe Davis runs a 4.8 😂😂😂
i know he didn’t just say singletary
Chris, you are killing me. Bills have beat us in the season before and got their asses kicked by the chiefs in the playoffs.
Asses kicked? Hardly.
@ doesn’t matter if it’s 1 point or 20 points. They have never beat us in the playoffs, so that getting their asses kicked.
Sauce is up there he just on the Jets
Guys we’ve seen this movie over and over again. Until they beat the Chiefs in the playoff I’m sorry but just stop.
The chiefs tackles are gonna be their downfall
Singletary hasn’t played for the bills in 3 years bud
Actually, the same exact dynamic. Who pays these people to talk gibberish? Cant wait to beat the Bills in the playoffs.
Singletary HAHAHAHAHAH. Great sports reporter Simms
Its buffs year ... Book it
2:50 YOUR FORGETTING KINCAID
He didn't play, he was hurt
The only team they can beat the chiefs are the Ravens!!💫
Yes, the Chiefs had better weapons.
You think Hopkins, Kelce, Juju & Worthy are WORSE than Cooper, Knox, Shakir & Samuel?
And isn't the guy throwing to these weapons supposed to be the biggest advantage?
3 x SB Winner, 2 x MVP + HOF HC Andy Reid vs... the guy yall say has accomplished nothing + a defensive HC in McDermott?
Chris don’t get me excited 😂
lmaoooooo. chris said the bills wouldn't make the playoffs and he also picked against the bills in the chiefs game, you shouldn't listen to anything this guy saids
Chris has flip flopped on this. Pre-season. Bills will regress this year. Josh has less weapons. No Diggs, no Davis.
Now he has more weapons. Hollins, Samuel.
Admit your prediction on the Bills was wrong
NO, THEY HAVENT THEY BEAT CHIEFS DURING THE SEASON LAST YEAR CHIEFS OWN THEM IN THE PLAY OFFS
Simms back praising JA18, calling him my boy blue. What a fkn flip-flopper. And umm, Chris? The Chiefs stuffed the Bills run game? Did you watch the fkn game or what?
A 34 year old TE? How is that more than what Allen has?
He said Singletary lol. Hes hasnt been on bills in 2yrs buddy
Oh lord I knew this dude was gonna go overboard now the dynamic in the matchup has changed? if the Bills play the Chiefs in the playoff the bills will win? I bet he said that at least 2 or 3 times the last few times the bills played the chiefs in the regular season and won matter fact this is 4 in a row for the bills in the regular season against the chiefs all this bullshit oh it’s different now bullshit I got the chiefs if they matchup again which by the way I don’t think will happen because someone else is gonna beat the bills before they can get back to the chiefs I don’t think the bills are even that great of a team they haven’t played anyone aside from a few good teams most of them they lost to aside from the Chiefs, who is their Super Bowl every season in the regular season so fuck no nothing has changed for me at all
Chiefs have “way more weapons” than the Bills? Their top two receivers Brown and Rice have been gone all year. Kelce is a shell of his former self. And Deandre Hopkins is good but he’s older and he just got there. That commenter is delusional
Maybe he meant Coleman and Kincaid hurt
@@FwoggyPlays either way he is wrong about the chiefs. Clearly he doesn't follow them closely
You think Hopkins, Kelce, Worthy & Juju are worse weapons than Cooper, Knox, Shakir & Samuel?
You're kidding me.
Oh, and you're pairing them with Andy Reid & Mahomes vs Joe Brady & Josh Allen?
Coleman and Kincaid were out and Cooper was limited.
The Bills had a true #1 and #2 combo in 2020 and 2021. Besides those years, it is been Allen saving the day
Just like Kincaid & Coleman were out for this game. If you had to say who's better a 1 armed amari cooper or DeAndre Hopkins?
Go Bills! 🏈🎉🎉🎉
Chiefs fans …you lost get over it! Bills beat you in every aspect of the game, no questions! More games on Sunday! Next!
Wow one game 😂😂 and let’s get crazy. Also the fact chiefs are kissing key players 🤦🏽♂️🤦🏽♂️
I'm shocked that we are talking about the Chiefs and the bills, and you have the audacity to claim that McDuffie is the best cornerback in the league when the true best cornerback was on the other side in Christian Benford.
😂😂😂 he isn’t better than Mcduffie
@codyb4123 you might think that if you don't actually watch the two of them play. McDuffie is outstanding, but benford has the most elite technique in the league. He's proven over and over that there is not a receiver he can't cover.
Singletary?
Bills are not a good match up for the chiefs like yrs past. Look at the bills 3rd down conversion rate. And they were not 3rd and short all night long
The chiefs will get their revenge
KC has better defense than last year and better weapons over Bills. Only big difference is Allen‘s decision making and athleticism is better than Mahomes
There is not a single person who knows the Chiefs that thinks our defense is better than last season lol. Sack production has plummeted and our CB2 is a disaster after Sneed left.
@kghd2647 100%, absolutely
@@kghd2647exactly. They’re still solid, but this isn’t last season’s defense. Ppl forget Sneed made huge plays last season (especially in the postseason)
But when Omenihu returns, we’ll have that pass rusher to hopefully get things rolling again
Yes KC ought to be worried about their tackles.... even cheating and lining up in the backfield as the chiefs do can not help them!! Lmao
How is it different? Bills run game did nothing. Cooper had 2 great catches ok in the past there was diggs. 2 of allens top guys did not play in this game. Used to like simms opinion but now he's just full of crap. That whole game was on allen last year he had, diggs, davis, shakir, kincade, cook and johnson. How are the weapons better this year???
Bills oline was average at best against kc
0 sacks allowed. First time in 30 games that has happened to KC. And the Chiefs blitz 50% of the time.
Overreaction. This happens every year. Andy will pull out all the stops when it matters most. See ya in the playoffs! Keep doubting KC 😉
Chiefs fan here: the bills beat us every time we play them in the regular season.
And this is the same narrative every time they beat us.
Give us more motivation…
I don’t think KC needs more motivation than a potential 3 peat and furthermore if the chiefs are watching this for more
“motivation “ then KC is in trouble and probably should practice more.
You better hope Buffalo's defense is injured af like always come playoff time 😂
Chris Simms is a joke he said the Bill's and ravens were going to beat us last year in the playoffs. His takes are so ridiculous we will get pacheco and Hollywood brown back soon . Mahomes will be the grim reaper once again. Chiefs kingdom baby
Lamar Jackson chokes every year in playoffs, your not beating the Bills this year, they getting players back themselves that will abuse Mahomes more then they did on Sunday
@@harmon7896 the bills won by 9 without their starting RT, WR and TE. Not to even mention Matt Milano will be back for the play offs
I like how Hollywood is already penciled in as a difference maker even though no one has seen him play with Mahomes yet. 😂
Bills can congratulate themselves for beating a team who played without its top-3 receivers, top-2 running backs and its all-pro kicker. That's more than half of the offensive starters. 'Atta boy Buffalo.
Brother Bills didn’t have the top 2 targets for Josh and Milano out…Cry about it
u wanna play that game? bills didn’t have dalton kincaid, or keon coleman. not to mention they were down there starting DT, and ALL PRO first team matt milano. cry me a river this is why i can’t stand you people.
anyone with a somewhat sane mind, know harrison butler has zero impact on the final score. this is why women don’t watch football.
Bills have Allens # 1 target out in Kincaid not to mention Coleman and a starting Lineman and their best linebacker in Milano. Injuries are part of the game. Did you say that in the playoff game last year when half the Bills starting Defense was out? Of course not.
Oh I'm sorry did you forget that Amari Cooper is injured and wearing a cast, Dalton Kincaid their number one tight end was out, Keon Coleman their top rookie wide receiver was out, they're starting right tackle Spencer Brown was out and oh yeah they got guys heard on defense like all pro linebacker Matt milano. So attaboy Kansas City for keeping it to nine points.
Nah, the Bills are overrated, Josh Allen is overrated and these dudes just want to focus on one game at a time. Chiefs are still at a different level and they are unstoppable in playoffs. Just leave the Bills alone, they have no pedestal and don't need to be put there either. One game at a time.
lol spoken like a true homer. Josh is head and shoulders better than fatrick
Barely unstoppable please, Brady spanked chiefs in Super Bowl , barely beat Bills in playoffs, got lucky with 13 seconds and a missed fg, Bills beat you Sunday with a bunch of nobody's except cooper and they getting people back real soon, their defense smothers mahomes
The chiefs are definitely stoppable with a healthy Bills defense.
Intelligent analysis
You really overrated yourself, just another homer Chiefs fan and nobody cares.
