Switzerland watching again….loved Number 2! I used to sew my clothes (from age 14-30) then moved onto patchwork(hand applique being my love) and now alternate between cross stitching(learned at age 10) and knitting, so your flosstube fits me to a t! I`m impressed that you do your own free quilting on your Bernina, machine quilting being something I never got into. And love all of your project bags….
Thank you so very much for coming back and watching me again! I am glad we have similar interests. I enjoy doing free motion quilting, especially when the projects are manageable.
Congratulations on the new grandson coming. Mike & Cream look great without the fill in. I'm not a quilter but admire your quilts and people how do quilt. Have fun on your road trip.
Really enjoyed this video, and I'm looking forward to catching up with your newer ones as well. Such a wonderful variety of stitching, you have many beautiful pieces. Your Christmas pillow finishes are lovely along with the Primrose Valentine's one too. The ruching adds a very nice touch on the pillows, I've never tried it before. Your Evergreen mystery quilt is just beautiful, the fabrics, design and quilting are all just perfect. That will be fun to use this Christmas season for sure.
I was so excited to see another video!! 🌞🩷 Awww...what a sweet thing you said about your hubby, Alan! You are blessed! 😊 Beautiful sampler in honor of your inlaws! Love your TK pillow finish!! Love your SIPS! Gorgeous dress, on Aida! You are so talented!! Have a wonderful, creative weekend!! 🌞🩷
really enjoying your channel! Thanks for talking with us about your projects ! I live in upstate SC and we have lost a couple of quilt shops over the past few years within the area. we also dont have a cross stitch shop. Im more of a quilter - i cross stitched about 35+ years ago; i do enjoy your channel as i garment sew and quilt as well. Keep doing it! you are a natural!!
Another great FlossTube! I love your pillow finishes! I would also enjoy a project bag tutorial, you have the cutest bags! Looking forward to your next episode! 😊
Oh my your Santa pillow is beautiful, lovely finishing on your pillows. Milk and Cream Co. is a sweet design, project bags are such a necessity, like all your new stash, Hobby Lobby has the best clearenc sales. Love the sweater dress in works.
You are so good at this floss tube thing! Enjoyed this video and I like that you share all your crafting loves. Love the dress! See you next time. Thank you ❤
I love alll your projects!! I so want to make a quilt, ive never made one but the more I watch you ladies that crossstitch and quilt the more I want to try it! ❤
Beautiful Stitching and congrats on the new grand baby who is coming!! You are right, nothing like those sweet babies. I saw you commented on a Barefoot Needlearts Retreat post. I am going to be going there also! My friend, Carol, went last year and had such a good time she asked me to tag along this year. Hope to see you there.
Thank you so much ❤️ Yes! I can’t wait for the retreat, you will have a great time, it was so fun in February. I will see you there, just a few more weeks 🙌🏻
I love your work and have heard so much about from my Daughter Tammi. Can't wait to sit and see what you are doing. I so badly want to get back to cross stitching again, a winter sport for me😊. I LOVE the Milk and Cream Sampler, that may be my first. Thank you for sharing
Another great video, love all your projects and finishes. I’ve been to the Barefoot Needleart February retreats and they are wonderful and being able to go to the shop is a definite plus. Can’t wait to hear about the shop in Irmo, I’m in northeast Georgia and it may be time for a road trip.
I'd love a tutorial on the bag with the zipper on top. I followed a pattern and the edges came out curved. It works but not what I wanted. I currently close my bags with velcro and it works fine but I'd like to be able to do the zipper too. I've started out sewing garments so I know I can do a zipper. Now it's quilts, cross stitch and project bags. Have a good trip. I live near The Attic (Arizona) and from what I understand, it's THE place for cross stitch. Maybe a winter vacay?
Yes, I need to get set up and show how I do the bags. I will say I am addicted, I love making them ❤️ I can’t wait to go to the shop, a nice little day trip and yes The Attic would be a great winter trip 🥰
I love your floss tubes. The sampler decision is a hard one I loved them all. I would love for you to do a tutorial on ruching ribbon. I have not done that before and it leaves such a pretty finish.
I hope you and your friends enjoy your trip to Irmo. I’m so glad we finally have an LNS in the area. I would have a tough time deciding among the four sampler patterns for Sampler September. They’re all beautiful. My heart tells me that “Oh Joyous Day” is the one. Thank you for sharing your beautiful work with us and for the inspiration. Safe travels! See you next time!
Congratulations on a new grandbaby, they make our hearts smile for sure! I enjoy seeing all of your crafts, love the crochet blanket! The pattern looks familiar, do you mind sharing info on it? Looking forward to your next video😊
Thank you so very much ❤️ Grandbabies are so much fun! The pattern I used is a free pattern and tutorial by Leelee knits. It is the easy baby crochet blanket.
I'm thinking about getting back into garment sewing, especially dresses. Where do you buy your fashion fabric? Great job on your floss tube, you are a natural!
So happy to have found your channel! I'm binge watching now... 😂 - Wondering what the app is that you mentioned keeping track of the DMC you have on hand? Love your projects!
Thank you so much ❤️ I use Threads. It is a free app for the basic and you can purchase additional add ons to track overdyed too. I just use it for my DMC.
Stacy the 911 stitcher mentioned you and so I had to come over to see your videos. I am especially interested in your conversion on the Milk and Cream Co pattern. I have the pattern, but I love your colors so much more. I tried to find Lori Holt's color conversions, but I could not so I'm hoping you can tell me what you used. Thanks so much and I'm looking forward to your next video. I see you must also follow Pat Sloan as I see several of her "quilt a-longs".
Thank you so much ❤️ I believe I used Lori Holt’s Farmhouse fabric and the color changes were: (I already put away the extra floss so not sure what was CCW/WDW/GAST) Galvanized for Tin Bucket Cherry Tomato for DMC #640 and Baked Apple Parchment for Eggshell Country Lane for DMC #950 Chives for Pine Needles Green Apple for Joshua Tree Blackbird for DMC#3771 Blushing Beauty for DMC #3779 Ruby Slipper for DMC #3857 Whitewash for DMC #3865 All other floss remained the same.
On the video thumbnail there is a bee quilt as the back drop. What pattern is that? I was hoping the video would at least mentioned it. Please reply with the pattern name.

Aww!! Thank you so much ❤️❤️ The Milk & Cream Co., is such a fun stitch and I loved how it turned out. You are going to enjoy stitching it for sure 🥰
Enjoyed your first flosstube. My mom was born in Ivanhoe, Pender Cty, NC.

I’d love to see a tutorial on “rouching?”
I could do that for you ❤️
I love all your project! did you take an in-person knitting class or online? I have needles already purchased and yarn on the way.
Thank you so much ❤️
I took an in person class, it was one on one and the owner was fabulous. I have one more class. I just need to get it scheduled.
On the video thumbnail there is a bee quilt as the back drop. What pattern is that? I was hoping the video would at least mentioned it. Please reply with the pattern name.
This was a pattern out of one of the Sew Sampler boxes from Fat Quarter Shop. I would have to look for the pattern and I will let you know.
The pattern was in the April 2022 Sew Sampler Box from Fat Quarter Shop and the title is Buzz Quilt Pattern
@RedCrossStitcher sadly I cannot purchase the pattern. Thank you for the info.
