Hi I’m a nail tech and I just wanna quickly say be careful when using the acrylic tip method because you can become allergic to acrylic from having it touching the skin and you can develop contact dermatitis which is super painful! The colours came out beautiful ❤️
I learned myself to do acrylic nails, is this another method?
Yeah, you can also develop it from gel too. I've seen techs wipe the sides of the nails with their finger after applying gel topcoat, to keep it from bulking up the sides and then become allergic from doing that so often. That's why I don't take my gloves off until after I'm done with s client. Even wear gloves when doing my own nails. Just cut the finger tip part off of the hand I'm currently working on. That way my hands are protected when I use my finger to wipe the gel from sides, or to cut the acrylic off the tip when I've got excess acrylic at the tip during application.
Also a nail tech. Contact dermatitis is not specifically from acrylic. It can be from almost anything that touches your skin.

I Agree with you that expensive stones aren’t necessary, but I’d love to see you do the most expensive set possible! (Extra af stones, foils , polish etc)

Hi I am a 55 year old who found you on TH-cam while recovering from back surgery. I look forward to your videos and have spent so much money on nail stuff trying out your designs and techniques. Suzy from nail career education was the first person I saw applying full cover tips with acrylic, she’s also recently done a video pre designing the tips then applying with acrylic
Edit - she also used low odour monomer.

Wouldn't low odour monomer take longer to dry? It seems like Emily is having trouble with the drying time normally because she was holding each nail for like 5 minutes.

With acrylic , I think your beads gotta be bigger bc it looks like it’s watery when you apply it, like the monomer on the brush didn’t soak up in the acrylic enough if that makes sense.💖

I love the glitter and stone show and tell! I have never had extensions of any kind (mainly because I can't have long nails due to my profession), I just do regular old polish on regular old natural nails, but I love watching other people do extensions. I love how much fun you have with nail art, Emily!
