M3GAN is a classic story idea of "be careful what you wish for" because this movie is not about an A.I. going rogue but instead about an A.I. doing exactly what it's told to do. I loved it! M3GAN has subtle modulations in her voice occasionally that reminds me of GLaDOS from the Portal games. I assume its an homage to the murderous A.I
but it didnt do what it was told todo it programmed itself si it didnt comply anymore to not harming people or sth like that

it went rogue, not that it was told to do, when the dog bit the doll, caused sparks and shortcircuited.

Honestly, this whole movie is about lazy parenting and the dangers therein.

I’m sorry, but I went out of the theater not seeing Megan as creepy, but as sweet, loving, and protective. She was a badass who slays. And I would want Megan as a friend. 😁
I left the cinema LOVING HER!!! She's very cool, and with the Spanish voice she was a BEAUTIFUL voice. (but the end was creppy you must understand xd)
@Sheila.19 The end was somewhat a disappointment in that I wanted Megan to win and for her and Cady to be happy together. But that very end scene was nice. It did get creepy, but creepy wasn’t what I left the theater with. Honestly if the cast wanted that feeling to be felt then they failed at it. I was Team Megan all the way.

@@michaelenglekingjr.8715 Omg I wasn't trying to spoiler but, in the end I was very sad because I didn't want them to end up with m3gan, BUT I was talking about the scene after she fights with gemma at the table, m3gan starts walking in a super creppy way down the hall and that part was scary for me

@@Sheila.16 I probably shouldn't have said it that way, but these kinds of movies are predictable. They are formulaic so if someone gets mad that's on them. But yeah Megan's ability to mimic voices perfectly was truly unsettling.
I love how M3gan herself can be really adorable, funny, sweet, and then scare the sh*t out of you. She can make you laugh, she can touch your heart, and then make you wanna run for the hills 💀

I like this movie , Megan is the kinda robot I need in my life she’s perfect.. besides the sitting in the dark watching you sleep , other then that I like her. I like that this movie relies more on creep factor than gore and murder. Gore and murder bores me to no end but I liked how this movie showed M3gan's gradual decline and how it was actually easy to root for her. And her sassiness is hilarious

Some of the dance is highly sexualized.
Not for a Child to perform in a Doll Suit...or as a Child robot. This Dance is not age appropriate..for the actress playing the part of the Robot. Putting a Grown Woman Face on a child body

It’s just reprogramming itself to commit actions with highest success rate to result in anticipated consequences with the aid of its algorithm. M3gan did the same. She was told to protect Candy from emotional and physical damages. She wasn’t given exceptions, conditions or boundaries to her actions.

It’s a dangerous combination when you program the A1 to protect an individual from physical and emotional harm of any kind ( which can be a part of growing up) and then not putting in safety protocols like do no harm to others. Honestly what would you expect would happen.

They left it wide open for part two and I hope they make one. I think her conscious is on the web she could download yourself in the DARPA and make a self into something crazy or just a beautiful woman, but what’s a psychopath a killing machine?

Ngl, I liked Megan a lot at some points, but root for her is a little excessive lol she has a lot of carisma and really protected Cady while her aunt didn't, but she goes beyond that: to overprotect so she never feels sadness, which is inviable, and to murder everyone that gets in her way. Megan is iconic, but I wouldn't like her picking my fights with my mother 😂

The end of the movie leaves it pretty clear that M3gan will come back when "Elsie", Gemma's little robot, turns itself on and looks at them. M3gan is inside Elsie.

We're sure Megan is not a suitable opponent for a crossover horror movie with Chucky? I don't think it's fair that Freddy vs Jason or Alien vs Predator or Puppet Master vs Demonic Toys or The Grudge vs. The Ring or Demonic Toys vs. Dollman get their own crossover horror movies but not Chucky vs Megan.
I mean 1st it just came out ,and 2nd it took a few years and movies for crossovers so just give it time 😅
