Not sure who this Tipper guy is, but he's seems pretty good. His scratching isn't quite as good as Qbert. But, with some practice, he might be close one day
@ButterflyBasshead Dave's my homie, he's such a cool ass, straight up pfam, smart mother fucker. If you're into the kind of music he makes, then go ahead and know, that in THAT culture... HE'S THE GOAT. And goats don't exist. That idea of greatest of all time, just can't be answered. And yet, i say he's the goat But lemme tell, I've had many conversations with this man, Dave Tipper. And he's so legit it's silly
@@allonecollectivexpression I'm a part of that culture and family and am eternally grateful for the 15 years of being able to belong to such a beautifully weird, unique, and creative group of humans. Just saw Dave at Secret Dreams a few weeks back.... absolutely mind blowing as per usual. One of the hardest trips I've ever experienced was his closing set. Beautiful, disgusting, healing, spirit lifting, and of course, cuckoo and wild as fuck . Perfectly blended with everything you want, while getting all that you didn't know you needed. We are so blessed to live on the timeline where music like this exists. Authentic people create authentic art (music in this case), so it totally makes sense that Dave is this way. I would agree that for what he makes and what he puts into his artistic expression, he is one of the greatest to ever do it. I have so much respect for artists like Dave that care about the sound production quality, visual fx, and overall experience and atmosphere of each show, curated event, or festival he plays. There are very few creative minds that cover all the bases like he does. :) Love to you fam. Hopefully we can cross paths at a set and get weird together!
@@allonecollectivexpression Also another great! I try not to rank artists I love. They are each uniquely themselves and that makes their art singularly special in different ways for me, personally. I appreciate all of them for different reasons, but also universally for being gifted at what they can produce and create. Alike in the fundamentals, but vastly different in other important aspects of their craft. That's why I love music. It's so powerful if the conduit for it is authentic.
My dude, Rest in peace. You have been my childhood hero and inspiration since I was an anxious teen. You have meant more to me and the scene than you'll ever know. Hope you're slaying the D&B scene in heaven, you absolute legend.
I was front row for this & your video is the closest thing I've found to reliving that day. Thank you!!
Thank you for uploading this! I haven't seen Tipper live in a long time

@ButterflyBasshead Tipper is the best producer. For sure. But even he doesn't do for me what PAPADOSIO does.
