No notifications window came up to activate them...and switching on notifications within the settings doesn't do anything. Sadly this version is not a viable option

Downside of this solution is that you don’t get the full capabilities including video calls/calls - it works fine for messaging. I cannot fathom why they are not launching an app for IPad….would be interested in the strategy behind that….

Still a web version. You don’t get video/audio calls.
It’s hardly the full WhatsApp experience since it doesn’t allow video! Unless I missed something…
I use this and it keep zooming in after switching apps. Anybody have same issues and found the way to fix it?

It doesn’t work on iPad Air 2014 M2; the WhatsApp Web doesn’t load on the new iPad Air at all.

I'm wanting to buy an iPad. but I see that it doesn't even have full WhatsApp yet. On my Galaxy Tab I have been using video calls a lot for business for months and the iPad doesn't have it? I hope it's very soon
Unfortunately this is not up to Apple at all. It’s up to Facebook to publish the app for iPad, but for some reason that’s not a priority for them. As an app developer I know Apple has made it relatively easy to publish a cross platform app, so I’m not sure why Facebook is dragging its feet
