As always interesting and informative. I think you said you lived in Scotland, so the polenta thing is very resonant because we eat porridge whereas the Southern softies eat Muesli/corn flakes. Seriously, it is a Northen thing for sure, and the corn flour for polenta is NOT the same as American corn flour. (Otto file??). I liked also the "homeliness" vibe - open the wine (Brunello?), take the dog for a walk, family celebration and so and so. Is there a funicular up that mountain,?? 🤣
Thanks for the trip - very nice to be able to stop for lunch! Will try Polenta next cold day … can’t believe you forgot your new microphone and cameras - but you were on vacation.
Persimmons! Thanks. Ahah then your husband and I are both polentoni 😂 well polenta is delicious in any way you cook it, so I’m a proud polenta eater, too lol
It looks really cosy there in front of the fire, that is something I miss. And the best toast comes from cooking it on an open fire. A lovely bit of filming again too. Another super video.
I hope no labradoodles were harmed in the making of that candle 😂
Hopefully not 😂 especially as it’s my favourite breed 🤫

Thank you very much! Being in front of the fire on a cold winter day is special… 🤩
