    My phone always feels like it's being constantly monitored and hacked. I've turned off my phone only to it turned back on! Somebody no doubt has gotten into my phone.

    Bought a pre jailbroke iPhone from a phone company in Canada. Was told it was a new iPhone. Everything looked like a new iPhone. But after using the iPhone for a few months, I could see something really wrong with my iPhone. Biggest problem was that my iPhone IP address was not for the area where I lived. The IP address was for a city 650miles from where I live. I get locked out of settings for my iPhone that could interfere with the hacker.
    My warning to anyone out there buying a new iPhone, check to make sure the iPhone you just bought is not jailbroke.

      @mermaizingmentoring1111 7 หลายเดือนก่อน

      Yes because they can download an app or tracker and hide it. You can jailbreak yourself or pay someone like $25-50 as it’s becoming more popular .

    Another solid set of recommendations. Some of the recommendations, such as the Safety Check, are quite useful, but they are buried well far down in the Settings app. I wonder (suggest?) if Apple should create a separate safety/security app. Thank you!

    If your really MUST give bank account details, try opening an "eft" account at your bank. Keep the balance very small & top it up only as required. A hacker trying to milk this account will not get much. If you believe the account has been milked, you can conveniently close the account & open a new account for the same purpose.

    Ever since I’ve installed iOS 16.2 system services is accessing the location more often than what it used to earlier. In the location services under System Services I’ve activated only Emergency & SOS, Find my iPhone, Wi-Fi calling and share my location same as what I have been having ever since I’ve had my iPhone 13 Pro Max. How to stop this?

      I keep location turned off cept when I need GPS! Still apple does what’s called “Wi-Fi Triangulation” They turn ON your Bluetooth while sleeping whatever AND other shit! I also set up on my router a private “SSID” and always use a guest account yiu can also set up in your router settings with a separate password. Always use a guest account too for any streaming stick!
      Hope that helps 🙏🏻

    Watching this because I found a strange device listed in my 11 year old's ipad under devices, after I received an email advising someone had accessed his icloud account at an hour that was impossible to be him. I've changed his icloud and ipad passwords, forced all log-outs of his devices, removed the strange device - plus also for the entire family. Is there anything else I should do?

    • @ProperHonestTech
      @ProperHonestTech  ปีที่แล้ว +2

      Sounds like you've covered all your bases. Just keep an eye on the device list moving forward. Were there any financial cards linked to his profile (I'd assume not, but better to check)?

    Unfortunately, the APP called GlassWire will not work on iPhones, but if you have an Andriod phone, GET the free GlassWire App, and pay $7 a year to upgrade it so you can shut dowm rogue connections immediately.

    … u mentioned checking the mobile/cellular data & if it appears to be over used, thathat may be a sign that something is not right.
    But u did not mention what can be done about it???
    Asking: What can be done about this if the cellular data appears to be used excessively???
    Thank u for ur time & response to this inquiry.

    Hi, sorry Could you help me in my situation, everything is hacked on the iPhone (Apple ID, apps, but not email, passwords). Technical service tells me it is only with Apple Us, so that they can solve the hacking, but even calls are diverted and I cannot call them, nor have I been able to communicate to Apple or through the website. Could someone give me a hand on what other option I have to be able to solve this in some way and not lose it after only 5 months of having it?

    Jailbreaking your iPhone, and changing the password from the default of alpine to anything else is infinitely more secure than not. VPNs don’t really help that much. If anybody knows what they’re doing, they can see through the nonsensical rerouting of your IP address. The British accent really helps.

    • @mermaizingmentoring1111
      @mermaizingmentoring1111 7 หลายเดือนก่อน

      Was looking to find someone to jailbreak. Paid someone $50 one time via IG and she didn’t do it so had to have bank cancel payment . I’d probably be able to find tons on Reddit or rumble but not on any social media currently.
      Who would you recommend ? They’re all older models of iPhones either a passed relative or another relative have to me when bought new but locked to owner shit …
      Any suggestions are greatly appreciated 😍🫶🏻😍

    When you logging into a bank website for example. That logon and password process should be encrypted regardless if you are using a VPN or not. I suspect smaller online retailers have poor encryption or maybe outdated software or something along those lines. Hence how my credit card details were stolen twice now in the past 24 months.
