No! The obedient plant means you can turn the blossoms, the petals themselves to make them sit in any order you want... That does work, but I don't know if it stays that way for the rest of the summer or whatever. A lovely garden. Thank you so much.
How can I find the native plants for NH South? I have a large back yard that we mowe only once a year and let anything grow that comes in by itself. Every year we get more and more flowers, grasses, thistles and of course birds. It is full of the little yellow birds (finches?)and a myriad of other birds and butterflies, as well as polinators of all sorts. Really fun to watch.
The reason for mowing once per year is to allow the perennials and grasses to grow but to cut down trees and shrubs preventing them from turning the meadow to woodlands.
A fabulous video - well done. Question. What is the plant at 7.40/7.44, it looks like it has pods or seeds (almost like Lupin, but not). Thanks - keep up the good work.
I'm learning to garden now and I'm so glad to have found this channel!

Beautiful. I love this municipality’s mandate.
Thank you for your inspiration. I like your philosophy and teachings about native plants.
Your channel is a safe haven for me as I’m trying to choose the best native plants. Thank you

I appreciate this! @7:38 Why would a wild lawn require mowing once a year (and not more mowing or none at all)? Thank you.

Great!
Where can I acquire the seeds for the native plants?
People are just not aware. Need more advocacy for natives
I’ve manipulated the individual flowers on Obedient Plant and they stay put.

Hi An Goban, the plant with the dark seedpods is baptisia, you can learn more about it in this video: th-cam.com/video/4mxqxxC3fyQ/w-d-xo.html
I wish the sound is better.
Thanks for commenting, the sound on recent Native Plant Channel videos has greatly improved!
