If the vinyls Diggers Factory presses are pressed from a previously digitized source, like an .mp3 file, then the audio from the vinyl will be no better than that original .mp3 file. Chopped up into thousands of bits/second, digitized audio can never equal true-from-the-source audio. However, if the Diggers Factory vinyls are pressed from original tape sources, not digitized, that would make me very happy! People have to understand, the grooves in a vinyl record are simply direct forms of the original frequency waves in the music, just transferred to a physical format. If you look closely at the grooves in a record, you will see variations in them. Some grooves are longer, some shorter, that is because those grooves correspond to the frequency of the sound pressed in it. Ie., longer grooves equal low notes, basically. And what you are listening to when playing it are the sound waves pressed into the vinyl, regardless of their source! Sorry for this rant, but this is why I have been on a mission to buy vinyl lately, lol! @diggers factory, can you tell me if the vinyls you press are from original tape sources, or from digitized sources? Thank you!
