- Our Umrah trip with 3 kids Alhumdulilah. We stayed at Swissotel Makkah which I booked through booking .com , I filmed inside the Haram after we weee done with Umrah as I don’t like to record while doing Ibaadat. Make sure you listen to the video for all the tips.

Just have a question about your Little one, big kids can eat almost everything but the Babies and toddlers takes time to adjust at new places.Did you have any problem finding toddlers food and milk there?

When we went Muhammad Saleh was only a few months old so he usually only had powder milk which we took with us from Pakistan so didn’t have any problem. Although Saudia has almost everything available so you won’t have any problem. Lots of supermarkets near Masjid Haram in Makkah and Masjid Nabwi in Madinah.

Where did you park your stroller before going in? Or did they let you walk in with it?
We took it in via the bridge. It leads to the second floor. You can park it anywhere on the second floor and go near the kaaba.

Depends on your child’s age. Double would be better but during rush hours it could be a problem.

Thank you! The push chair is from Graco. We got it in 2014. It’s a full size 2 piece push chair.

It’s different. Maqam comes first but we stayed in the other one.
Assalamalykum brother, I am planning a trip with my 3 kids under 5 and one infant. How was your experience with kids on a Umrah, how did you guys manage the stroller and all obligations of Umrah with kids? PLease advice. Thanks
It was very easy as we used to take the stroller to second floor from the bridge. You can park it anywhere, no one moves it around. You would need to take it slow and stop when the kids want to rest so manage time according to them and it’ll be fine In sha Allah.

Sorry but I have no idea about electric cars. If you hire someone to push a wheel chair it’ll probably cost somewhere between SR 100 to SR 250.

You’ll have to do it on the plane. There is no other option. Miqaat in Makkah is for the residents of Makkah. 😊
Assalam alaykum , May I know when kids has to wear Ihram, my son is 1 yr old whr should I dress him ihram, in flight as i am flying from UAE, or in hotel room in Makkah, Shukriya..
Walikumaslaam, As your kid is not an adult and is too small to actually perform Umrah; I would suggest to dress him in Ihram in the hotel room as otherwise he won’t be comfortable (if he wears a Diaper it would be best to feed him and change him before going). 😊

Back then it was around Rs.35K per night but yes it has gone up. Also depends on the time you’re visiting. We went in August when the schools were open.
Dis they furnished little bed for your Baby ?
We didn’t get a cot although it was acquainted if we wanted.
Hi brother, can just ask did you have any problem booking a quad room for 5 guests? I have 3 kids aswell I can’t see the point booking an extra room for 3 year old.
That shouldn’t be an issue. My kids slept in my sisters room. They were 7 people. So just book the quad and it can be easily shared.

Yes you can. Pram allowed nahi hai par aap goud main bachay ko lekar jaa saktay hain. Zohaan 4 months ka tha jab hum gaye thay.
MashaAllah Mabruk. Quick ones, What is the best way to move around? Uber? For how long are you allowed to stay in Riyad ul Jannah? So the ones wearing Ihram/ for Umrah are the only ones allowed in the Mataf area? Jazak Allah
It’s very hard to get Uber near Masjid Haram (I think they’re not allowed near it) so taxi is the best option; make sure you bargain as sometimes they charge very high prices for no reason. You’re allowed to stay for 10-15 mins but during Ramadan I stayed there for 30 mins and nobody said anything.
Yes you can only go near the Kaaba or on that floor if you’re in Ihram but you can go to any other floor for Namaz and Tawaf in your regular clothes. This is only for men as they can’t distinguish between women.
Do you know whats a resonable fare from clock tower hotel to makkah train station? JazakAllah.
@@mbadi5735 it should cost you around 35-40 Riyaal in regular taxi and i think on Uber it said 18 Riyaal but Uber takes a lot more time to come.
@@TheDadGram what was the booking system for umrah like for you? How does it work ? Do you arrive at saudi and book your umrah through Nusuk app or did you have to do it beforehand?
Mashallah. Is the stroller allowed inside the mosque? Actually we are going there next week.
Yes you can; to the second floor from the bridge. We sometimes just parked it on the second floor and went near the Kaa’ba.
stroller n wheelchair allowed in second floor areas only..what we did was me n my hubby took turns to go to the mataf area for tawaaf ....as kids without ihram and stroller isn't allowed in mataf area...but we did see once there was a stroller in the ground floor areas also..we also took the stroller in the ground floor areas when we went earlier before the prayer times..also there's gate number 4 ..wherein we used to keep the stroller sometimes ...so that me hubby n the kids could altogether go to the mataf area...u can use the stroller then from.the hotel to the gate number 4 also..thre are many options ...

Salam brothwer, can you write how is the room called exactly with this same view in swisshotel and the package. And when i start in medina, i want to go to mekkah by the haramain train. How I make it with the Ihram because the train does not stop at Dhul Hulaife mikhat border
This room was on 42nd floor and it called Kaaba view. Haram view is different so make sure you book Ka’aba view.
You can wear Ihram in hotel and do niyat in Masjid Nabwi before leaving.

You can apply as a group.
I booked Hilton convention for m umrah. Is it a good hotel too with kids??? Olz let me know this is my first time and I only get this hotel woth my family
I’m sorry but I have no idea about Hilton Convention. Hilton is a great chain so I’m guessing it’ll be nice. In sha Allah.
Is there 2 year babies are allowed in masjid al Haram nd we can take them for tawaf....??
Yes you can. We took our 4 month old, 3 year old and 6 year old 😊
Salam brother, mubarak to you all. I'm thinking of going to umrah in December i just have couple of questions, first of all do we need covid proof certificate at the airport, also are children allowed in the masjid nabi thank you
Yes you will need the covid vaccination certificate, you don’t need a covid test result though. Kids are allowed at the men’s side in Masjid Nabwi

am not rectifying anyone here...but we also had been just 2 weeks back and were there for 16 days in makkah n 6 days in madina so had done a lot of research...thats y sharing whatever knowledge I have as we also had young kids along
In Shaa Allah I will be travelling with kids in Oct. I have a 15 month toddler with me, can I take my baby inside with me for umrah?
@@skgazanfar yes in sha Allah...don't take the stroller for mataf area its not allowed there
u can put the stroller at gate number 4 its safe there ...n then collect back whilst going to the hotel or after u have finshed tawaf...sorry safa marwa if u choose the first floor then u cab take the stroller also there...or else u do tawaf in turns like when u are doing tawaf ..ask your husband to take care of the baby and when he's doing u can take of the baby on the other floors ...we did this..so that we can do tawaf easily..for safa marwa top floor u can go there with the stroller...still the security and the entrance conditions changes every day so until October if any new rules that should be followed

Walaikum as Salaam, price depends on the hotel you choose. Best place to look is booking.com, pram khudi lekar jayein. Wahan se nahi milegi. Wheel chair hoti hai wahan.

You can leave it somewhere on 2nd floor. We did that too.
But there isn’t a proper space to leave prams.

Yes prams are allowed in Haram on second floor. I’m not too sure about pram rentals but they do have wheel chairs.

Hii Assalamu alaikkum Insha allah after 2 days we are going to Umrah . I have 10 months baby . Is the baby boy can perform Umrah . I heard that the baby boy can’t wear pampers . Can the baby boy can wear pampers when performing umrah ?
Yes ofcourse. Only a child who is older and understand Umrah shouldn’t wear anything underneath Ihram but small kids can wear pamper and underwear.
Brother I am booking the same quad room with Kaaba view in swisstel Makkah, will I get the same view or I should request for higher floor May I know which floor you stayed and any room number can we request .. jazakallah
If it says Kaaba view then it will be on 40th or above I think. We were on 42nd floor.

Yes but at the men’s side. When we went they weren’t allowed at the women’s side.

You can go anywhere in Masjid Haram with kids. If you have a stroller you can park it on second floor and then walk down towards the Kaaba.
Lovely watching. Weren’t your kids tired? The elder ones during Umrah? How did you guys manage?
They did it all on foot Alhumdulilah. They did get tired during sa’i so we sat down for 10 mins but otherwise they did okay. I just feel with kids you have to be very patient and keep them entertained so before we went we told them stories and the importance of Umrah which motivated them I guess.
We also went with 7 and 8 years kids. ALKHAMDULILLAH they did first UMRAH complete. Though they get tired. But they did enthusiastically.

We stayed on 42nd floor in Kaaba view room.
As long you’re in Ihram you can go near the Kaaba at any time.

@@farheenshaikh2306 stroller is allowed for sai also in the second floor area only.. n its better to do sai on second floor only with kids..as ground is very crowded...n second floor area u can carry some snacks also ..not too big packs though.. we had to throw away our KFC buckets as it wasn't allowed n was quite visible also
Can you please share which app did you use for Umrah permit and how many days prior did you get the permit? Any other tips are welcome.
We used Eatmarna and I booked Umrah 2 weeks before our flight. Although nobody checked it but it’s still important so make sure you do it. Book your slot for Riaz Ul Jannah as early as you can because it gets full very quickly and they didn’t allow you inside without it.

app permission isn't required for umrah anymore...I had been there 2 weeks before only....the eatmarna app is required only for riyaz ul jannah visit..n u can take the appointment for that once u reach madina..for entry into the mataf area in.haram makkah..u need to be having an ihram for men is a compulsion..that's the only requirement
@@glitzandglambyhuda there is too much confusion due to umrah appointment. I would be getting visa on arrival so very less time to get permit

@@yasinpatel9307 for umrah app permit isn't required for sure...but for riyaz ul jannah it's required...u can book that permit once u reach makkah also...then go to madina accordingly..but its doesn't take that long also..usually u get the permit for the next dya or within 2 days..still check download the app n check
