John Schlesingers Marathon man is my favorite Political thriller ever made. It's a MASTERPIECE some great shot's of Dustin Hoffman's Rolex GMT and Lawrence Olivier's Longines
This has got to be my favourite episode. It’s great to be amongst fellow Die Hard is the best Christmas movie, aficionados! Please keep up this brilliant channel 👌👌
Great, fun video as always. I know it's a movie as well, but if you recall Jeremy Renner in Bourne Legacy, knocks out one guy at the Chem factory steals his gold Rolex Daytona and trades it for boat ride out of town towards the end of the movie.
Riggs didn't wear a TAG in Lethal Weapon; it's a Timex Q series watch (look closely at the image with the coffee cup - the Q can be seen at the 12 o'clock position)...
This episode was awesome..on the movie tip Bruce Willis was in my favorite watch scenes in motion picture, in Pulp Fiction.. gotta have "The Gold Watch" on WOE
i really like your videos .but you forgot to mention the casio AQ-33W Reginald Val Jackson was wearing as Sgt. Al Powell. great videos ,keep them coming.
Great videos. I recently came across the Glycine Airman. My father flew Forward Air Control in Vietnam and pulled it out. I had not heard about it. On investigation, it turns out to be strongly related to people who did air recon in the war. I would love to see a mention of it on your videos. I would love to show him.
Absolutely 💯 AWESOME gotta love in Die Hard 3. Bruce Willis wore his personal Breitling Chronomat 39.5mm reverse Panda 🐼 since he's a sketchy individual and really proves that in part 3😉
Great video guys. Loved the mention that the man makes the watch. Also, I think it’s really cool that in the second die hard all the bad guys are wearing tag Heur chronographs I believe.
Watches of my past were a Formula Tag from around 1990 and later a civilian run of a mil spec Breitling quartz 3 hander...black on black on black. Both great watches for EMS work.
Great video. I absolutely love your channel. I've watched Die Hard many times and will continue to, but now with the knowledge that I am fulfilling my W.O.E. required viewing.
I have the original Heuer Coral 980 026 Monnin THICK CASE with the black pvd and the Heuer 981.006 Monnin JUMBO case with the olive drab pvd coating and love both of them. The ESA 536.121 quartz movement have been very dependable and both have been serviced but those og Heuer's with the pvd coating have become incredibly hard to find. So a reissue with Heuer only dials would be totally awesome 👌
Loved this video!!! Check out the watch worn by Joe Pesci (Harry Limes - Wet Bandit) in Home Alone. A little surprised this one wasn't mentioned. But always love the WOE videos!!!!!
I feel lucky to own a breitling myself... Ive got a Breitling galactic 41 two tone yellow gold Big date gold bezel (limited edition) I wear it everyday... got a rolex datejust for the formal occasions.... But this breitling is on me all the time
Damn I finally found someone who rocks a Breitling galactic 41 everyday! Mines has an all black dial, big date with the original bracelet. My favorite piece in my collection 😊
@@mrlong6267 ahaha i know!!! its a rare watch for some reason. It is one of the prettiest breitlings.... like its manly yet elegant. Not oversized and not shouting for attention. Love the 5 link bracelet as well. I literally am wearing mine right now....
I prefer this channel’s analysis of these watches, rather than my reflex cynicism whenever I enjoy these movies and get distracted by product placement…
I've read that the Beretta 92s of Lethal Weapon and Die Hard are actually the very same gun! Owned by a Hollywood prop house, the gun was used on both movies, with Bruce Willis customizing it a little after Mel Gibson used it. That's why they look a little different, but it's actually the same gun.
I love your content and I’ve been following you for some time. One watch brand that I’ve not seen you highlighting in your channel is the LONGINES. Considering their importance in WW2( dirty dozen) the villain watch of James Bond and more. I’d be nice to see a material dedicated to this brand and what it stands for.
Another interesting watch moment in a holiday flick, though not a tactical one, is Steve Martin's character trading his Piaget watch for a hotel room in Planes, Trains and Automobiles (John Candy's character, by contrast, wears a Casio).
Pretty cool! I would thought that Riggs in Lethal Weapon would wore a Casio G-Shock instead of a Tag Heuer formula 1. It would be more fitting in his role and his military background. I spend 24 years combined military service (US Navy and USAF) and what you see most in the AOR are Casios G-Shocks. Great video and happy holidays for you and your family. Thank you!
Maybe they have a nicer watch too, and just where the G-Shock to work? The watch community needs to quit presuming what people should wear, and then self actualize themselves through pre-conceived notions.
Dude he was in Vietnam there were no G shocks. He should have wore a Seiko 6309. Or maybe a blacked out Heuer Coral 980 026. There's nothing more boring than a G shock. You guys are always pushing Casio on everyone. Not everyone likes digital watches
Be great to see the story of the Chronosport UDT and get some inside intel from their ex CEO and now owner of Momentum watches, Simon Pennell. It’s a story that hasn’t been told.
Matt Damon wore the same quartz TAG Heuer Link CT111 for the first 3 installments. In the 2016 movie he wore a different blacked out TAG Heuer quartz chronograph
That part of Home Alone never fails to amuse…after all that bartering, financial ruin and long-arse road trip with John Candy and his band, she only arrives home a few minutes before the rest of her family. Should have just stayed with them.
Terrific work! Another idea is to review the watches in the four seasons of Tom Clancy’s Jack Ryan series with John Krasinski. I believe Ryan wears a Hamilton chronograph.
Ho ho ho, now I have a machine gun! Therefore cementing Die Hard as a Christmas movie, and anyone who says otherwise is wrong. Merry Christmas to WOE, another great video. Keep it up, looking forward to what you put out in 2025.
I love how seriously you spoke when Home Alone was the subject.
That's an AI voice
"In this case the Rolex was used to get out of France" ... 😂 2:29
"The wheel spins and lands on France."
"There in only France on the wheel."
I'm glad Lethal Weapon is getting recognition as a Christmas movie
A must watch every Christmas!
Couldn’t agree more.
Really like how you put the " We believe everything we see on the internet" with Kevin screaming.
Could we get an analysis on military watches of high ranking officials and officers? Say, Russia, Ukraine, Israel etc...
yep, we have one in the works
@@WatchesofEspionage Outstanding! Thanks
So much this.
I want to see watches from Patton and Eisenhower to Powell and beyond too.
Great work WOE. Merry Christmas you fifthly animals!
Hearing Home Alone described in such an intense manner is hilarious.
You’ve quickly become THAT channel for me. Very rarely do click no matter the time of day. Keep up the good work! We appreciate the effort
Thanks man, these take a lot of work so that means a lot!
Same.
Yup, instant click for me as well. Love WoE!
Just the latest example of why this is the ultimate watch channel on TH-cam
Couldn’t ask for anything better, love your vids man
Thanks so much, this is a fun one.
Joe Pesci wore a gold Casio Arnie ref AMW-320 in Home Alone. My uncle finally killed his about 5 years ago after more than 2 decades of use.
This channel sincerely needs to go viral...it should be your Christmas present. ♥️
Wonderful watch as always (pun very intended) 😊
Thanks so much. More to come.
Lethal Weapon 1-Director’s Cut, is my FAVORITE Christmas movie!
Hans Gruber plummeting to his death from Nakatomi Plaza IS Christmas.
I have two words for you: Marathon Man.
Was going to post this if someone didn’t. Iconic watch scene.
Rolex GMT Master.
Thanks so much!
Love this video. Felt like a wrap up of the year, referencing past videos with dry humor. Great video for the holiday season.
“In the business of intelligence, we call that an ‘indicator’” lmao
Such a big fan of the TH-cam and the dispatch. Great way to combine love of watches with interesting stories, and occasionally sketchy dudes
Interesting and refreshingly down to earth in the love for watches. Please continue.
This was a fun one, can’t take ourselves to seriously
Merry Christmas to all ‘Sketchy Guys’
That dialogue in Home Alone is quite realistic. Most people think a Rolex they see is fake, most indeed and most just want the looks.
The *BEST* watch TH-cam channel. The best.
Thank you!
It’s good, but way too overproduced.
Back with love again sir
Wish you all happy Christmas 🎄
Just commenting to boost engagement on this channel because I want it to succeed so much. Love the work guys
Heck yeah son! Another video. You need to create longer videos, because I cannot get enough of them 👌
...I freaking love this channel!
Great job! Merry Christmas! Thanks for an awesome year of WOE!
Great, fun video as always. I know it's a movie as well, but if you recall Jeremy Renner in Bourne Legacy, knocks out one guy at the Chem factory steals his gold Rolex Daytona and trades it for boat ride out of town towards the end of the movie.
Spot on.
Just about to say the same thing , on point
Merry Christmas to you W.O.E.!!!
Merry Christmas and Happy New Year WOE! Happy Hunting! ♠
Love the watch analysis! Keep ‘em coming
Excellent episode.
Nicely done 👍🏻 Merry Christmas
Happy holidays woe and thank you for another great video
Can confirm. This channel is awesome.
Merry Christmas!
I think this is my WOE video to date!
Die Hard is a Christmas movie, period! Happy Holidays, WoE!
Merry Christmas WOE! Love the subtle humour in this episode ☺️ 👍
Finally a watch I own makes it into one of these videos (Tag Heuer Formula One). Albeit a 2004 model.
These videos are brilliant. Keep it up.
I remember Stallone’s Heuer in Cobra such a cool watch on grey leather.
Terrifier 3 is also a great Christmas movie
Great video and very well put together. The delivery and content was superb. Happy holidays WoE!
Riggs didn't wear a TAG in Lethal Weapon; it's a Timex Q series watch (look closely at the image with the coffee cup - the Q can be seen at the 12 o'clock position)...
Plus the hour markers are sticks, not round like on the Tag as the video suggests. Well spotted!
This episode was awesome..on the movie tip
Bruce Willis was in my favorite watch scenes in motion picture, in Pulp Fiction.. gotta have
"The Gold Watch" on WOE
i really like your videos .but you forgot to mention the casio AQ-33W Reginald Val Jackson was wearing as Sgt. Al Powell. great videos ,keep them coming.
Harry (bad guy) in Home Alone is wearing a Casio Champagne “Arnie”. Really cool watch I see all over the place today.
Now you have me thinking about a Home Alone sequal with his cover being blown and his kids/family exposed. Great work as always, WOE.
My dad just gave me Die Hard on VHS, going to watch it for the first time tonight
@@jaqobie8250 you’ll love it!

The dry wit had me laughing hysterically. Maybe not a comedy channel but I come here for the lols.
Merry Christmas, love your channel and your straps (have got a few).
Absolutely love the WOE videos. ❤ Well done, sketchy dudes! 👍👌💪🤩😍
Die Hard 2 is also a Christmas movie with plenty of watch content
Lots of Heuer’s in that one.
Awesome clip. Merry Christmaas, WOE!
Watches of my past were a Formula Tag from around 1990 and later a civilian run of a mil spec Breitling quartz 3 hander...black on black on black. Both great watches for EMS work.
This is fantastic, Merry Christmas and Happy New Year
Great video. I absolutely love your channel. I've watched Die Hard many times and will continue to, but now with the knowledge that I am fulfilling my W.O.E. required viewing.
Required viewing. Love it.
Really have loved reading your articles. Love the videos and the hard work you put into them.
If Tag Heuer would re-release the 3000 series in solar I would so pull the trigger & buy it. As well as The Tag Heuer 1000 Series PVD in solar.
I have the original Heuer Coral 980 026 Monnin THICK CASE with the black pvd and the Heuer 981.006 Monnin JUMBO case with the olive drab pvd coating and love both of them. When did u purchased it?

Die hard absolutely is a Christmas movie!
Merry Christmas W.O.E! and happy hunting..
Die hard 3 introduced me to breitling that breitling chronomat evolution on bruce willis wrist man it was love from first sight
It's actually a Breitling Chronomat 39.5mm reverse Panda from the 80s. The Evolution didn't come out until the early 2000s. Hope this helps
I love this channel!!!
I would never accept a "Rolex" as payment. The most counterfit watches in the world. Cash or fuck-off.
Hans wears a Tank so the scene you mentioned on how John realises Hans is a villain - never was cut.

Your presentation is very impressive 🎉, happy holidays ❤
The casio wave ceptor wv58 was worn in non stop by Liam neeson
