Well, that was an adventure and a half. I went to the famous Goat Market in Nizwa in order to buy a goat. I wanted to give it to a friend as a gift! Did my mission succeed or fail?

It's one of the nicest place to live in Oman.....I work and lived there for 8 years.I missed the simplicity of life in Nizwa and the weather as well.

This reminds me of videos I've seen of American livestock auctions, but a lot more hands-on experience for the buyers & a more chaotic vibe! I love that they go for coffee & sweets after in a swanky cafe. Rural meets urban in all one go!

That market was beautiful. They take great care of their animals. (I have see auctions “in the west”. ) That is a top quality market I am guessing. Pretty expensive goats (mind, I haven’t bought a goat in 16 years). Thanks for showing that.
