I've been a huge fan of Cradle for most of my life and they almost never disappoint! This song has been stuck in my head for the last few days and it's pretty much exactly what I expected them to do for Halloween. I definitely get some Midian vibes. Specifically Saffron's Curse in some parts. Midian is one of my top albums of all time so I'm hyped for the new album. Can't wait for it! I have tickets to see Cradle for the first time next month and Idk if I'll actually be able to go yet but I have hope! 🤘🖤
Definitely Maiden-Midian vibes like a mix between Midian and Nymphtamine like they did on She Is The Fire. That one was hitting a bit harder and was better though I think! I’m so happy for you Jojo that you’re going to see them finally. Do everything you can to be in the best possible shape to attend the show, you’ll love them live, no doubt. Last 3 albums are really good, a mix between their more catchy melodic period (Nymphtamine/Thornography) and the old school fast black metal sound of the late 90’s and Midian. Cheers mate 🤘🏼🖤
I am fan of Cradle since for at least 20 years. I think this first premiere could have more teeth. The melodic parts were good, but for me the chorus reminds me a lot thornography which was their controversial album. However, based on their last albums I think the next album will be good as long as their is no to too much of thornography style chorus.
I don’t mind a bit of Thornography talking about about the melodies if there’s more to the sound like they did in the middle part. Still I love She Is The Fire way more because of its perfect blend of memorable catchy melodies and very intense riffing/drumming. Very good song but I agree, it could have more teeth.
