- Played and recorded on Dragon Ball Z Budokai 3 (Collector's Edition) for PlayStation 2 through PCSX2 PS2 emulator.
East Supreme Kai, also known as Kaioshin, can use Potaras in order to fuse with Kibith and become Kibitoshin.
I gave him "Potara" capsule, while Super Buu (with Gohan absorbed) had "Turtle Shell".

Kibitokai is such a weirdly designed character. He's one of the only characters with a unique walk animation AND ki charge animation, pretty unique supers, & a somewhat unique fusion since it can't fail. All that and they didn't bother to give him an ultimate ??
Yeah, I see a lot of wasted potential in him as well.
It’s probably because we never see Kibitokai fight at all, and this is the only way they could give Supreme Kai a power boost in terms of game mechanics
That said I’m still upset by it too, I was hoping he wouldn’t just be the same moveset again when I first unlocked it
Dr. Gero can't even absorb his Shockwave move, very unique character
@@StrongArmElijahI thought that ki absorption move only worked on ki blasts but I could be wrong
@@slawton17 it can work on beams too, but they have to be equivalent to the amount you've equipped in his custom slot.

I never took this fusion serious, next thing you know, Kibioshin is doing awesome moves at the end, LOL, I was impressed.
Same here, never bothered to check Kaio, but he's actually a really solid char!

I love how with this stage, that blast volley seems to miss, and buu just doesn't react to it whatsoever...
Am i the only person that finds super buu's voice awesome to listen to? Espiecally that yell at 0:47 ?
All of their voices and the way they sound when they swing/get beat up is a HUGE reason why I love this game over all others lol. You aren’t alone.

Something about Shin outranking Kibito. Since they're not equals, the fusion isn't an even split between them- it's mostly Shin still.
Out of universe reason is that Toriyama decided that fusions should have both voices according to Daizenshuu 5. So it’s possible that when he hadn’t thought about it when he had Elder Kai be a fused being yet during the manga, so they went with one voice actor for the anime. However, whenever Toriyama did come up with it, it was too late in the anime so they never decided to change it.
In-Universe explanation? Have no clue lol
Kibitoshin and his counterparts really should get more love in dbz games solid characters, side stepping must be fun with them

Does ARTS attribute scale with transformations (maybe boost overall attack power) or it is just makes super and ultimate abilities do more damage? Is there a point to max ARTS firstly?
I'd like to see a guide about attributes and maybe some tips about itemization on certain characters (best green capsules), for example "full moon's glow" for kid goku gives a lot of attack power but costs only 1 slot, it's better than breakthrough.

How to achieve max attack damage in the game from capsules, At least with kid goku it's about 180%, higher than ssj4 gogeta's
Hi.
"Arts" boosts the damage of your special attacks (beams, DragonRushes, Ultimates and so on) and yes, it *does* scale with your transformations.
Maxing out "Arts" allows you to deal +50% dmg with your super moves, Idk if it's best for you 'cause it depends by how you play. I always max out "Attack" first and "Arts" second.
I was considering making a capsule guide. I'll let you know, eventually.
Achieving max Atk is impossible, without cheats, but achieving the highest possible changes on a character basis. In the specific case of Kid Goku, there are some custom sets that might help him. But in most cases, "Breakthrough" IS the best option by far.
@@Dr._Doppietta thank you for replying. Also I wanted to know if there's a point in maxing guard rather than health since its 100% boost in defence which equals only 6 bars
"Health" gives you 4 more HP bars, while "Defense" halves the damage you take.
If you wanna build a "tanky" character, max out Health first and Defense second.

What's the difference between Budokai 3 and 3 CE?
3 new costumes (Goku orange gi with halo, future Trunks with saiyan armor and Piccolo Daimao), some bugs fixed (like Z2 vs Z3 exp. glitch) and some minor gameplay tweaks.
