Burton Bradstock Bank Holiday Weekend Camping at a Temporary Holiday Site

We take Cosy Cromford (our VW Campervan) to Burton Bradstock for the August Bank Holiday weekend. We stay at the Temporary Holiday Site (THS) run by the Southern Region of the Camping and Caravanning Club. A THS is usually a field with a fresh water tap and somewhere to empty your toilet (so your own chemical toilet is essential). To use a THS you need to be a member of the Camping and Caravanning Club. To find one near you or where you plan to go, either look it up in the out and about section of the clubs website, download the Out and About App or (if you're a paper member like us) sign up to the Out and About magazine. We paid £10.50 a night and were informed that the full facility campsite next door was charging £50+ per night over the August Bank Holiday weekend.
