Oh my gosh I I’m so grateful for this video, I’m planning to knit my own version of the la ligne mini marina jumper and I couldn’t stop thinking about the collar, I haven’t thought about the panels only the collar but now I can plan the rest!
Dont know if you guys gives a shit but if you guys are stoned like me atm you can watch all the latest movies and series on instaflixxer. I've been streaming with my girlfriend these days :)
Thank you for the video. It was very helpful. I wonder if you can help me with 2 questions .... I just finished knitting a summer sleeveless sweater. I have sewn up one shoulder (as per the instructions on the pattern). I now have to pick up the stitches to knit just one row for a neckline. However, I did the top of the sweater in Seed Stitch, so I don't have the knit vees to work with. Should I just work along the bind-off row, going into each of those stitches? Also, your sweater is already sewn up on both shoulders. As mine is only one shoulder done, it will be lying open . My question is should I be working on the right side or turn it over to work on the wrong side? Or does that even matter? Thank you for any help you can give me. 😃
Hi! I think you'd be good with working into the bind-off row (or maybe one row in from the bind-off) ... you can always take it apart if it looks weird and try again. (That's what I do!) I usually work seams with the right side facing me, but you can see what it looks like working from the inside too. Sometimes it takes a bit of trial and error - good luck!
I knitted same raglan sweater and the neck edge is just the bind off row. It curls outwards. Any suggestion how to fix it? If I will knit a band of ribbing the opening will be too small. Any edge ideas for the neck??
Hi! You can try to wet block it (wet the fabric and then let it dry flat) but it may still curl if it doesn’t have edging … otherwise maybe you could rip back a few rows and then add a bit of ribbing?
Hey that’s really helpful !! in fact as I’m a total beginner i came across this video looking how to make a sweater and this one seems exactly as I’d like it to be? Could i ask where this pattern come from?

@Crosby Billy definitely, I have been watching on InstaFlixxer for since november myself :)
I couldn't see Jen pick up the diagonal stitches, the work was too near the edge of the frame?
So sorry about that! I may make a new video for this.
Very helpful, thank you

@@JenGeigleyKnits Thanks, Jen, for your help. I appreciate it. 🧶🪡😃
Hi Jen for the rib collar do I need to decrease it as I knit up? I’m only doing 6-7 rows.
Do you decrease at the collar? Thank you
I don’t think you’ll need to!

The pattern is the Super Simple Sweater, available on Ravelry.
Hi am new to knitting, can I use straight needles for this??.
My circular needles seem to come detached so many times!!!.
Thanks
Hi! The pattern is written to be knitted in the round - so sorry!
This would be very useful if you actually put the camera in the correct position.
So sorry - I may make a new video for this!
@@JenGeigleyKnits it's been a year. If you've made a new video fixing the problem, I couldn't find it. Have you made a new video?
