Sassari Medi Candelieri 2019 (seconda parte)

Valorizzare una manifestazione che è riconosciuta dall'Unesco come Patrimonio culturale immateriale dell'umanità. Salvaguardare la tradizione e rinnovare, di anno in anno, il sentimento di partecipazione alla festa della città. Sono gli obiettivi dell’amministrazione comunale, che si prepara alla Discesa dei Candelieri. L'edizione 2018 ha ottenuto, insieme alla Cavalcata Sarda, il marchio dell’Anno europeo del patrimonio culturale rientrando nel calendario nazionale pubblicato sul sito annoeuropeo2018.beniculturali.it.
Come ogni anno, quello che conduce alla Faradda è un percorso intenso, che comincia con la Discesa dei Piccoli e dei Medi Candelieri e continua con gli eventi collaterali, momenti di convivialità e spettacolo. E se nella giornata del 14 agosto la città accompagna i Gremi nella discesa, le celebrazioni continuano anche il giorno di Ferragosto, con la messa e la processione, e il 16, con lo spettacolo pirotecnico sulla spiaggia di Platamona.
