@@Leojw10that’s not true. Many people who have played vs city have said the atmosphere at the Etihad is electric. This was a case of city fans knowing they’d win so not putting as much effort in, which is a big flaw in the moral of the fans

I dunno what it is this season but the atmosphere isnt the same as last season, it is alot more quiter than last season i dunno why!! I was at the match in aouth stand as usual and despite the best efforts of alot of the south stand loud fans its just doesnt seem to be anywhere near last seasons atmosphere!! Nothing to do with empty seats ect as it was pritty full for dead rubber but last season was loud consistance support game in game out!! What do we need to back the boys, another 115 charges cos thats the only difference from this year to last!!
And also, aomething ive noticed this season is thatnwe are conceding alot of silly atupid goals, we conceding first shot on target in alot of games last night, in the derby ect its happened alot this season, and in this run in if city are gunna win league need to tighten up cant be giveing liverpool and arsenap goals this month and we need to win both thoae to probly win league 😊 come on city

@@ceostreamsI didn't say our away fans ain't class (I am a fan who goes every week) but the atmaspher I'm talking about not level of support, it was sold out, as was united game, but it was flat, it has been flat most of the season tbh, I standing southstand and we try but for most part the fans in other areas are very quite and flat, their was nothing first half in derby till city scored in 2nd!! It's strange really as if alot of fans have forgotten how shite we was 15 years ago and where we was 20 years ago and now just expect city to roll teams over, last season the etihad from Feb when 115 broke was rocking week in week out and away was the usually loyal and loud following, when you have Copenhagen fans chanting in English 2 nil and you still don't sing is a piss take tbh!! And The half hearted Poznan was like 1000 people involved in a 55,000 capacity! I'm certainly not criticising in a game like last night but we have massive run ongoing and the players need the fans right behind them 100% the atmosphere at games should be electric we are not far away from emortality if city can pull off a 4th in a row and or the double treble, this team will go down in history forever in my opinion so we have to realise what Wen are witnessing and getting behind them, cos one day pep will have gone and we might be like Liverpool winning odd trophy here and their but this currently is a juggernaut of a team and club so we needed a little bit more!! I'm a Newcastle fan who came down with the wife who is a massive City fan. She regularly travels down 2.5 hrs to watch city so thought I'd come down with her as City are my 2nd team if I'm honest. What I was shocked by was the lack of atmosphere....and not just this game but many others. Had to laugh when the Copenhagen fans starting chanting "Is this a library"....very funny. So City fans...what's it down to??.....cant be all down to tourists. surely...is it down to being spoilt? I'm generally asking the question..not taking the "pee". With Newcastle's recent take over I'd hate for us to lose our atmosphere at St James'. Dont get me wrong it been quiet at times at St James' this season but I was really shocked how quiet and the lack of atmosphere there was last night. Good luck for the rest of the season....double is on the cards definately...not the treble cos the TOON are in town a week on Saturday for the FA Cup.....lol
Go to most games, always load of tourists about and the club quite obviously don't care about the match going fans/regulars. Agree we need to 100% improve but so do the club in that aspect.
Such a shame but surely the die hard fans out number the tourists....maybe the tourists would even join in on a song or 2 if the while stadium got loud and proud and sang their hearts out

If the atmosphere isnt great its usually down to the quality of opposition. City fans are hardly going to get excited if a team from the danish league is playing at the Etihad especially when weve already got a 2 goal advantage, we'd be more excited if we were playing Stockport county who are in the fourth tier of English football.
Also sorry to say it and it may sound arrogant but city have come so far over the last 15 years that a team like Copenhagen is now considered small fry to us.... unlike man utd who get beaten by them.
