Our Experience at Topgolf Miami, Doral | Is it worth the price?

- Is Topgolf worth the price? We checked out the new venue that opened up in Doral, Florida to see what all the hype is about.
We went on a Tuesday since they do "Half Price Tuesdays" where the games are half the price than usual. We did not reserve a bay ahead of time so we waited a little under 20 minutes before getting started. We decided to play a basic game of topgolf (they have other game options) for one hour. The cost of renting the bay for one hour on Tuesday evening was around $22 (usually would be closer to $45) and we also had to pay the $5 membership fee each which is a one time payment so if we ever decide to come back we would not have to pay that fee again.
Besides that we did each get one drink (a beer and long island iced tea) and chicken wings. The total came out to $70 which is pretty pricey for two people playing for one hour.
We suggest coming in a bigger group (up to 6 people) since it will be cheaper if everyone splits it and go on a Tuesday so you can save more money. Also be aware that the food and drinks are a bit overpriced.
But overall, we really did enjoy ourselves and would say it was worth checking out. We would love to come back again with friends.

Love Topgolf. Expensive but its fun. Makes you want to watch Caddy shack.

Tip for next time. Watch the club hit the ball. It will keep your eyes down so you make contact. Your head will follow your shoulders and you naturally see where the ball goes. Hands need to be closer together.

I have golfed for years. Never at top golf though. This video was very informative…. I think you Could have way more fun if you both got a little instruction or lessons in golf,,, the proper way to grip the club for both of you would improve your game immensely!!

Ha hah I think you just save your club over the sensor. We love top golf. Looks like a great time. It is pricey. I wish they would make it better pricing.

so it's really not for golfers at all. Adult putt putt. Food games and bars. expensive too. I thought it was a fancy driving range for practice.

Wow. Learn to grip a club properly and it will go a lot better for both of you.
Not worth it. they wont be around too long. They operate for quantity and not quality. Employees dont seem very happy to work there.
Maybe go on a mini putt date....can u take your own clubs.....is this like a regular driving range
You can definitely bring your own clubs! What makes it different from a normal driving range are the targets, and each ball has an rfid chip to track it
Yes you can take your own clubs and it is a lot like a driving range just with more mini games and it’s a lot more fun
